The morning sun spilled through the crack in the
curtains, creating a golden line on the princess's
cheek. Mary sat on the edge of the bed, watching
her charge as she slept. The princess had been
restless all night, tossing and turning and talking
in her sleep, which had given Mary a restless
Night. "Princess," she said. She reached out and
touched the princess's shoulder.
Princess it is time to Wake up. Said Mary, the Princess's attendant.
Aurora woke up and saw Mary shaking her shoulder and looking down on her. She didn't want to get up. Her head was pounding and in the darkness, the familiar shape of her room seemed more like a stranger than the comfort she craved. Swinging her legs over the side of the bed, she stood, fighting back a yawn and wiped the sleep from her eyes.
A girl with a breakfast tray entered the room and Arora
looked longingly at the steaming teacup and
pieces of fruit on the plate. They filled her senses,
made her forget her anticipation just enough to grab a
piece of lychee with her delicate fingers. She
sucked its sweet juices from the rind, and it
exploded on her tongue like sunshine.
Ok princess it is time to take a bath since we don't have time. Said Mary
Aurora looked deeply into her eyes and agreed to
the proposition, after taking a bath, washing her
hair, and dressing in a white gown. The fabric
caressed her body lovingly and clung to her
curves. Her hair was braided into two thick braids
that wound around her head and spilled over her
shoulders like a waterfall of gold.
Mary knelt down to speak to the princess. "Are
you sure you want to do this?" she asked.
Aurora just stared at her and Mary could feel the
coldness of her stare. "I'm sorry," she said, realizing that she had overstepped her boundaries.
Aurora knew that her attendant mary just meant
well but she didn't like anyone asking her
quetion, as she was doing this for revenge,
people think she is doing this for her sister but
no.
The pain she suffered is due to beeause of her good sister.
