The Smiles Family and There Special Guest Flamingo

CHAPTER ONE- HALLAM ISLAND

I arrive on the Island, the boat ride was long and boring, there was nothing but ocean for miles. I jump of the small boat on to the dock and get a good look at the house on the island, it's kind of hard to see the front porch from down here but you can't miss the house. The house is huge, it is made up of green wood framed with white wood and a brown colored roof topped of with a chimney and on the front porch lays a brown swing bench. The house sits up on a hill, it looks so nice and cozy. I look in-front of me to notice a dirt path leading up hill so I start making my way up. On the way up, on my right, there is a tree with a tire swing and a sand pit, how nice. When I reached the top of hill I notice more stuff, in the front there is a front yard flamingo decoration and in-front of me there is a stone stare case leading up to the front porch and door. I walk up the stare case and then knock, immediately, Robert opens the door.

"Hello, nice to see you again!" Robert says with a warm welcoming smile
"It's nice to see you again!" I respond
"How about you come in, ill introduce you to the kids." Robert says while gesturing for me to come in.

I walk in and stand next to Robert. The living room looks nice, there is a red couch next to a white one. Right in front of the couch is a old TV set on top on a short bookcase. Sitting on top of the red couch is a young brown haired girl with a short ponytail, she has a white and blue striped shit topped with some dark blue overalls. Sitting next to her is an older blond short-haired boy, he is wearing a varsity jacket colored yellow and white with some black jeans. And sitting on the white couch is a boy with short brown hair, he has a red and darker red striped short sleeve on with dark blue jeans. Robert steps forward and gestures for the kids to stand overs here. The kids stand up and line up side by side in a uneven way in-front of Robert.

"Albert, this is Seth" Robert says while turning to look at the brown short haired boy, I wave awkwardly as an hello.
"Hi, Albert." Seth said awkwardly in return.
"Albert, meet Matthew" Robert says turning to the short haired blond boy. I wave better than last time but it still came out as awkward as before.
"Hey." Matthew responds not sounding to happy. Matthew seems to give off more of an edgy vibe and Seth seems to be more happier.
"This is Clair." Says Robert turning to the brown haired girl in a pony tail then standing next to her.
"Hi!" Clair says in a cheerful tone. I wave back but no matter how hard I try, there always going to come off as awkward. Clair waves back normally as a response.
"Well, would you like a tour of our house?" Says Robert breaking the awkwardness.
"Of course!" I say not trying to come of as rude.
"Well first off, this is the living room."
Robert walks over into the kitchen and I follow along.
"This is the kitchen." Robert says in a calm tone. The kitchen is simple it's open, connecting the living Room and dining room. The only thing that looks messy is the kitchen sink, it's filled to the brim with dirty dishes. Robert continues to walk but only takes a few steps to reach the dining room.
"This is the dining room."
It's definitely different from the others, it's cleaner. In the middle of the room there is a clear glass table with 4 chairs surrounding it and in the corner of the room is a spiral staircase leading upstairs. Robert walks over to the stairs and walks up them to the second floor, i follow along. Upstairs is empty, the only things making the walls look nice are the pictures. We make our way over to the first room. The first thing in sight is a bunk bed , top bunk red bottom yellow, how cute! In the corner is a plan wooden dresser with a ton of nick-nacks on top. In the other corner, there is a old tv with a old gaming system hooked up.
"This is Matthew and Seth's room." Says Robert breaking the silence. We move on to the room next door. Most of the room is blue, blue bed, blue carpet and even a blue wall.
"And this is Clare's room."
Just as we leave to turn around I catch sight of drawing on the wall but only one has cought my eye. The drawing looks disturbing, everything has a smile in the drawing, I don't like it. The last room on the second floor is a bathroom with yellow walls and it even has a bathtub. In the corner of my eye I see a cup of tooth brushes colored just like there bedsheets, so this must be the kid's bathroom. For the final floor, there are only 2 rooms. The first is an office, there's just an L-shaped desk on the other side of the room with a laptop and on the side of the outer walls are long shelf's going in one row.
"This is my office." Robert says.
All of a sudden, everything starts shaking.
"Uh oh" Robert says concerned.
"THE BOILER!" Yells Robert.
