Intro + Guidelines

Hello! Welcome to my new and upcoming Warriors fic, FOE STAR! The idea behind this story is that Creekclan's elders, known as starets, have fabricated the idea of Starclan as a ruse to control the entire clan. Young apprentice Cherrypaw discovers this conspiracy, and slowly works to uncover and expose the truth.

The plan here is that you guys read the information and lore I have on Creekclan, and submit characters for me to use in the story! I'll need an abundance of warriors, but many spots are open, so feel free to submit a character to any rank! (Make sure to check rank availability and details on chapter three.) As you'll see in the 'open ranks' part on the third chapter, each rank has a number next to it, such as [8]. This means that only 8 cats will be able to fill that position. If more than 8 people apply a character for that rank, I'll have to start choosing which ones I feel will fit the story best, so just keep that in mind!

You can apply as many characters as you want. I always appreciate morally gray characters, and unique personalities are forever fun to play with. But get as creative as you like! Add some of your favorite OCs!

There are a couple of characters who are somewhat pre-existing, though need to be added on to. For example, the two barons are brothers preparing to fight each other to the death once their father dies, as only one of them can take over Creekclan. Build on to things like that!

I don't really have that many guidelines for signing up, but here are a few specifications I wanted to make:

1. By signing up, you are giving me permission to use your character(s) in my story!

2. Your character cannot be disabled -- which would mean no blind cats, deaf cats, cats with twisted legs, etc. Basically, nothing that would make it hard/impossible to fulfill warrior duties. If you have an idea that you think teeters on the edge of this rule, just comment and I'll let you know if there's a way to work around it! However, your cat may have scars!

3. Please do not sign up characters that are Mary-Sues and perfect in every way. I'm looking for dark, gritty, morally questionable characters I can have a good time with! Not that every character necessarily has to be this way, but please make sure your character has flaws!!

4. Cats cannot have any odd pelt/eye colors, and by odd I mean fantasy-based colors like purple eyes and green pelts. No powers, either. Keep it realistic here! At least, as realistic as canon Warriors usually gets. I welcome unique names.

5. If your character has living parents, you must make a form for them as well! If your character has deceased parents, let me know how they died in your character's backstory and how it has impacted the character you're applying!

6. No one may use the same prefix, so it's good old first come first serve. This is to avoid confusion on my part, because I really hate writing two characters with the same name. I'll let you know if your character's prefix is unavailable, but please do try and check the other sign ups just to make sure beforehand!

7. Feel free to collaborate with other people! Ask friends to create a family with you, comment on other peoples' forms and ask if they'd like to be your character's best friend/enemy, or even ask someone if your two characters can be mates! The more relationships I can work with, the merrier!
