New Beginnings

Chapter 3

I was just standing there in shock as we shook hands. When he touched me I froze I felt it all coming back again the butterflies the memories. I can't tell Jenn that will just make it worse. I'm gonna be a good friend act like an a daly and pretend that I've never met him before. Jenn could see the awkwardness she knew something was wrong.
" Is something going on?"

"Um no everything is fine don't worry about it just tired yah know I'm gonna go to bed."

"Ok your room is upstairs on the left"

"Thanks"

I got upstairs to my room and I was trying to figure out how I was gonna get alone with him I mean he doesn't live here and if he's gonna be here he's gonna be with Jenn they are dating after all. All the sudden there was a knock on the door. I didn't even time to get up and JC walked through the door.

"Heyy where's Jenn?"

"She's down stairs don't worry about her right now. I came here to see you."

"I knew it I knew you remembered me!! I mean how could you for...."

"Shut up!! Jenn is right down stairs she's gonna hear you"

"What's your problem why would you lie to her look JC I changed my mind we have to tell her what's going on!"

"NO!!" "You can't tell her things are going so good between the two of us you'll ruin it."

I couldn't believe my ears. He was in love with her I couldn't mess that up she was so happy I would be an awful person if I did.

"Look I just came up here to tell you that you have to keep this to yourself ok don't screw this up for me like you screwed up our relationship!"

"What the hell...."

Before I could finish he left I wanted to yell at him so badly I have to get him out of the house away from her so I can answer all of these question.

Later that night I quietly opened up Jenns door to see if he was in there sure enough he was. I walked in there and put my hand over his mouth and woke him up. When he saw it was me you could see the anger and confusion in his eyes. I grabbed his hand and pulled him outside the room.

Whispering I said "look I know your mad at me for doing this but I have to talk to you and I swear this will never happen again but I'm sure that you have as many questions as I do ok"

He nodded and we walked outside to the front porch.

"Ok crazy!! What do you want?!?"

"Why do you think that our relationship ending was my fault your the one that screwed up your the one that left without even a word because we got in one fight it's you that screwed it up it not me ok."

"Is that really what you think that I just got up an left. why don't you get your shit straight and stop lying about what happened!!"

"What do you mean lying. I saying what happened. looks like in not the one that needs to get facts straight ok!!!!"

"Do you not remember...."

"Remember what!!!!!"

"Shhhh stop talking" he put his hand over my mouth. I pushed him away aggressively, but then I heard it too foot steps Jenn was awake and looking for JC.

"Look Jenn is going to visit her parents this weekend we can talk then. ok."

"Fine but this isn't over."
