Daiya is still alive because he pushed both him and Mondo out of the way so no one got hurt, but Daiya's retired but is still in the gang. Mondo went to a different high school than Ishimaru, he barely graduated because of his skipping and grades.

Mondo was sitting in his main living room with his brother talking about Mondo's recent break-up with his ex-girlfriend, but then Daiya tells him about something that Mondo never thought of.
Mondo pov:
I was sitting on the couch with my brother venting about my ex-girlfriend, we broke up about a week ago. "She was such a bitch! And she was like a dead fish in bed!" I yelled I was so pissed because this is my 5th break-up this year, I was so fuckin tired of dating but I just wanted someone to love me but every one I tried to date fuckin sucked. "Mondo, why don't you try having a sugar baby?" Daiya said as he turned off the tv.
"What?" I asked because what the fuck did he just say? "Mondo it's clear you just want someone to fuck and bro you are hella rich, so why not get a sugar baby cuz you get hella good sex and all you gotta do is pay the bitch, so why not?" Daiya said as he sat to face Mondo.
"Dude why would I wanna fuck a whore who only wants my money?" I asked him, he looks at me and pulls his phone out, and starts to text someone. "Bro I have a friend that can hook you up, trust me. You wanna girl or a boy?" Daiya asked. I thought for a minute about the options I had. "A dude, I'm tired of fuckin chicks," I said.
"Ok dude I got a friend he got a sugar baby, so he can hook you up!" Daiya said as he smacked my back. "Ok dude, I ain't making any promise imma actually like the dude." I said as Daiya got up "Ok bro we'll leave at 12 tomorrow to meet up with my friend and the dude." He said as he walked upstairs. I started to think about having a sugar baby, but there was only one thought in my mind
