Plan to go

Amina was walking home eyes, teary head down and holding her bag over one shoulder. She was speed walking down the street suddenly turning a corner and bumping into someone. "I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." Amina then wipes her face of tears and lends a hand down to the person she bumped into.

"It's ok I wasn't entirely watching where I was going either" the new person began to laugh before speaking again "anyway my name is Phinix sorry about bumping into you." She then noticed her eyes were slightly red due to either crying or infection before she started to speak again. She brought her hands to her knees and dusted herself off slightly "are you ok your eyes seem kind of red." She takes a deep breath waiting for an answer. Amina started to fidget, fingers going down to the hem of her shirt before taking a breath and answering.

"My friends upset about her power and it's all we've been talking about since she got it. It's just annoying that it's the only thing we talk about. When I don't even have a power yet and she's whining about hers." She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and continued "I love my friend but she's" Amina paused releasing what she had just said to this stranger, she sighed and looked at who she had just told her problem about. A complete stranger.

"Nah it's alright sometimes it's better to tell strangers so you don't have to feel bad for your friends" Phinix spoke softly while bring her and to her hair to twirl her fingers while smiling softly as if Amina hadn't told her why she was upset. "If your all good now I have to get going I have a game to get to" she said reaching the hand that was in her hair over to Aminas shoulder still smiling as if nothing happened.

"Right yes sorry you can go I have to get home anyway" she started while starting to walk away before speaking again "thanks for listening to me." She then started to pick up the pace of her walking while Phinix started running the opposite way.

"It's all good if we ever meet again. I hope I meet this friend you were talking about. I reckon we could all be good friends." She yelled, turning around running backwards and waving her hand while still smiling. After that she crossed the street and turned a corner out of Aminas sight. Amina smiled to herself at the possible new friend she made before continuing to walk home.

Phinix arrived at her destination and went to the court. But before she could do anything her friend Jeff started to say

"you know you're supposed to get here before the game starts right." He looked at his friend from head to toe as if she had turned green. "What's up with you? You got dirt on yah."

"Shh" Phinix whispered over dramatically while holding her finger over her mouth smirking while winking ever so slightly winking. The game started and Phinix couldn't help but think about the girl and her problem. then something clicked it was as if a new nature she didn't know she had took over her mind it scared her but the thoughts that were flooding into her was a... plan? For what though. The game flew by and her friend started to worry about her.

"Hay are you alright- '' Jeff started to speak but Phinix butted in.

"I know what I want to do" she started looking at her friend with stars in her eyes then continued talking "will you help me? If people don't like those less fortunate than them with 'bad' powers then we should just get rid of them altogether." She said basically yelling the last part good thing Jeff lived alone or the other people would think that they were crazy.

"You mean we become murderers?!" He said a bit too loud you could hear the worry in his voice. Phinix blinked in confusion rethinking what she just said. It clicked and her eyes widened before opening her mouth to speak.

"No no no" she said, shaking her hands in front of her chest while shaking her head at the same time "that's not what I mean. A potion duffus."

Her eyes squinted a little, sending a glare his way. "As if I would kill anyone" she said, bringing a hand up holding a peace sign over her eye while striking a pose.

"Whatever" Jeff almost whispered, turning his head away, before turning back and looking at her wide eyed "you." He yelled pointing his pointer finger at her "go get the files from the super tax it shows everyone whose in there I will get ingredients for the potion and make it" he paused and started talking at a normal volume "your lucky my power it this otherwise it never would have happened." He said, closing his eyes and smirking while changing the pointer finger that was pointed at Phinix to pointing his thumb at himself.

"Fine," Phinix said pouting and starting to walk away "I will do it after midnight and come back at about 3am is that enough time for you?" She stopped walking and turned around. She had a certain look in her eye that made this seem ok.

"Yeah that's enough time." Jeff said, waving his hand while the girl walked out the front door.

It was now 1am the super tax building closes at about 12am but just to be sure there was no one in there Phinix decided to wait an hour. She took out a knife she had brought with her and threw it quickly thinking of where she wanted it to go. The knife then changed its course to where she was thinking. The lock on the door she then ran to the door prying it open and stepping over little shards of glass to get into the dark building.

"Owww" Phinix whined while tears pricked in her eyes jumping on one foot and holding the other "I just stubbed my toe" she whined placing her other foot back on the ground and blinking the tears that were threatening to come out away. Quickly and quietly moving over to the desk opening the computer. "They can't have passwords on these because multiple people use it otherwise there would be a sticky note on the keyboard" Phinix mumbled eyes going wide while unlocking the laptop and looking for the file she needed. While finding the file she copped it and slowly taking her eyes of the screen and slowly took out a USB from her pocket and plugged it in the wrong way. She starts hearing footsteps with each thump getting louder and coming closer startled. She quickly turned the USB over, grabbed the mouse once more and started dragging the file onto the USB. The steps were coming closer; she unplugged the USB and ran to the door only to see the police out the front of the building. She quickly jumped behind a wall, her back against it hand shaking and her head turned in the direction of the door. Her breathing started becoming faster and her palms started to sweat a little. Slowly she brought her hands to her chest to wipe the sweat off she could feel her hands shaking "I don't want to get caught we're this close to change" she mumbled bailey audible for even herself to hear.All the confidence from earlier had disappeared in mere seconds she sank to the food defeated, hands now brought up to her face to wipe the tears of defeat.

She brought her hands back to the floor and lifted her head then looked around when something caught her eye and an idea came to mind she quickly got up and started to run to a fire door on the other side of the room she pushed with all her might and opened the door. The alarm started to go off catching the attention of the police, she jumped a little startled but soon caught she heard the police ran into the building she ran out of the building and down the street.

She was now on top of a building with Jeff. The file had been shown and the potion had been made, it was now 7 in the morning. It was raining lightly, people still walking to work and school but just heavy enough to let their plan proceed. Slowly Jeff twisted the lid looking at his hands to see what he was doing. He then passed the lid to Phinix who was staring out into space muttering things he couldn't make out clearly "is this.. What if..." she then looked down at the ground below and started to speak again. Jeff walked a little closer and started calling for her.
