We walk into school and immediately notice the laughing of our other classmates, Usually, I'm on the other side of this. I'm not the one being laughed at. Im the one laughing because I heard other people's laughter. I never laughed at anyone on purpose. So, that's why this doesn't effect me. Im sure half of the people are just laughing people they heard other people laughing.

I walk into study hall and take note of the whispering. I know it's about me but I don't care.

"Grace, I'm sure they're not talking about you." We both sit down and take our phones.

"I'm sure they are. I don't care though." I laugh a little bit. "At least they're talking about me, right? Any publicity is good publicity." She shrugs.

I look over to where Austin is sitting and I frown without even knowing it. He looks over to me and the whispers something to his friends before standing up and walking over to me. Kaite notices him standing walking over to us and she rolls her eyes.

"What do you want?" I ask him and he lowers his head down to my level.

"Can I talk to you?"

"You're talking right now, aren't you?"

"In private." I sigh and walk over with him. We walk behind the the bleachers and he stands a little too close to me.

"Well?"

"Look, I'm sorry for the phone call this morning."

"Like hell you are."

"No, really. I am." I start coughing uncontrollably but on purpose. "Are you okay?" He asks me.

"Yeah," I cough again. "I'm just allergic to bullshit." I stop coughing and look straight at him. "I know for a fact that once we're done talking, you're going to proudly march over to your little man whore friends and tell them some kind of bullshit about me and what you told me but it's not going to be the truth. So, quit acting like an assshole, pull the stick out of your ass and stop being a pussy. Man up and maybe treat a girl like something other than your personal little sex toy and get out of my face before I tell everyone that you came over here to talk to me about our future relationship." He almost says something, but doesn't. Which is smart.

I sit back down next to Kaite and she just laughs.

"You heard what I said?" I ask her.

"I think the whole building did. Didn't you see Austin's face? He's redder than a fucking tomato."

"You somehow work a tomato into every conversation we've ever had." I reply, giggling a little.

"I just like tomatoes...A lot."

"Weirdo."
