Most of it happened in the past so not much can be done now...

Back in the past when I was still a kid and being tested they found out that my recovery ability is far more powerful than regularly so they...would run test on me...
They all started small like paper cuts and bruises but then they decided to step it up a notch. They would saw off my paws and feet to test my limits,it was painfully to go through and just when I thought they were done they sawed my arms and legs off and it'd take weeks to recover and I was in pain most of the time!
Then they decided to test weapons on me like bullets and knifes then bombs. They took my original form and after suffering I couldn't take it anymore so I... I-I... I threw one of the bombs at them and destroyed the lab and after that I went into hiding until I found Y/n.
That's why I can withstand attacks but I'm so limited to recover and in some environments it won't work like the cold. I got used to the pain with a few stabs but it was all happening too quickly.
