After school finished Addison asked me to help with some chemistry homework, I barely understand chemistry so I don't know why she asked me, she could have asked Bree as she's really smart. I told my parents I was around Addison's house once again they weren't happy about me staying out after my curfew but they're gonna have to live with it.

Currently, I and Addison are sitting in her living room; more like she's on the couch and I'm on the floor with our homework all over the coffee table and on the floor but Addison made us each a cup of hot chocolate with ting marshmallows and cream for me as you can't have a hot chocolate without cream; in my opinion.

"Do you know the answer to question 4?" Addison asked.

"You're on question 4?! I'm still on 2" I said letting out a groan "chemistry is so hard"

"I'll ask Bree and hopefully she's done it" Addison picked up her phone which was under a bunch of other homework "Riley?"

"Yes," I answered as I tried to figure out question 2.

"How are you and Wyatt so close already?" She questioned, my heart picked up a bit at the question "I mean, the wolves have only been here a few days"

I let out a sigh, I placed my pen on the question sheet before I looked up at Addison "if I tell you something, you have to keep it a secret" I said with a serious expression.

"I promise" she smiled as she leaned forward with her pinky finger stuck out, I wrapped my picky around hers in a pinky promise.

We pulled away from each other but Addison grabbed her hot chocolate "I've been friends with Wyatt since we were kids, when the forbidden forest wasn't exactly forbidden" I explained "but he never told me he was a werewolf until they first came to Seabrook"

"That's so cute" Addison squealed happily "did you at any point have a crush on him?" Addison asked, I gave her a glare of not impressed "I'm just asking as childhood friends like each other at some point"

I sighed again but when I was about to answer her there was a loud screeching sound coming from the door making me cover my ear slightly. Addison gave me a confused look as she moved her homework off her lap and placed it on the sofa next to her before getting up and slowly stepping towards the door, I quickly followed her as well as grabbing the closest thing I could grab; just in case, I came up behind her making her look at me "really? A baseball bat" she questioned.

"What? You never know plus your still holding your hot chocolate" I paused "what are you gonna do? Throw the hot chocolate at them" I said having a tight grip on the bat as Addison opened the front door revealing no one there "strange" I stated lowing the bat as I looked towards Addison as she looked back at me. I looked outside again to see the pack of wolves standing there with their hands in their pockets with halted on their faces "ok, what the hell" I announced throwing the bat on the floor.

"Come with us," Willa said.

"What's so important?" Addison asked finally placing her hot chocolate down on the chair near the front door.

"You are" Wyatt added.

"That's not creepy" I stated sarcastically "might as well take your hot chocolate with you on your little adventure"

Addison rolled her eyes at me as she walked down her steps towards the wolves "can I at least tag along?" I asked, Addison turned back towards me and grabbed my hand pulling me along with her; barely giving me enough time to close the front door as she followed the wolves down the street.

Addison and I continued to follow the wolves into the forest and I could tell Addison was a little scared but she tried not to show it, as we got deeper into the forest we came up to a part I've never seen before, I'm guessing this is the area the wolves live "have you been this deep before?" Addison whispered to me.
