Ping.... Ping... Pi- Ping.... Ping

Ugh who is texting me so much...

I check the ID, " Thomas.. ugh " I'm just gonna call him.

Ring... Ring...Rin-

Hey, took you long enough

Thomas, what do you want? It's 3:47 in the morning.

Didn't you read the calendar?

..no?

It's hunting night, you skyscraper.

Shit. I'll be there soon.

You better. He loosely threatened.

Ugh, how did I forget this? I run to my closet and grab one of the pairs of sweatpants I have. This will be enough.

I strip, and shift into my werewolf form. Black fur, with yellow eyes that lightly glow in the dark. I then pick up my sweatpants I dropped with my mouth, and leave my room, kicking the door closed with my back paw.

Racing out the open sliding glass door, I skedaddle to the hunting grounds, which are a few miles away.

While running, I see some drunk teens out in the woods, some racoons eating bugs, and some of my fellow pack mates searching for food.

Finally making it, I approach Alpha Thomas, holding my sweatpants that I only dropped once.

He looks to me, and orders through pack-link, to hunt with the weaker groups, until sunrise.

Trotting away, I catch the scent of a weaker Delta and follow it.

In the distance I see Derek, in his tiny spotted wolf form with some other wolves trying to take down a fawn. Sighing, I growled lightly, warning them to move out of the way from.. whatever they were doing. Spinning in circles around the baby deer? I don't know.

Next thing I do is charge at the small creature, after the wolves moved obediently out of the way for me.

Finaly, biting the little thing in the neck, feeling the neck crunch, the sound of the final screeches, and the delicious taste of blood entering my mouth from the holes in the flesh me teeth made.

I lay the dead meat down and look at the other wolves..

...

They seriously left me.

After making sure all the wolves returned, we count what we managed to hunt;

11 deer,

26 rabbits,

4 squirrels,

5 stray kitties,

3 moose,

And 17 birds that were caught off guard.

We have had better hunts although this months hunt was not disappointing.

Shifting into my human form, and putting on my sweatpants, I pick up a moose on one shoulder, and a deer on the other, and begin walking with the other wolves.

Walking home was the worst part of hunting, being dirty, tired and carrying heavy dead meat. But, you still need to enjoy the little things, the warmth of the rising sun, the glow of green from the leaves, the singing of the early rising birds, just the beauty of nature is all it takes to make me in a better mood.

Looking at the sun, I estimate that the times at about 6:20ish.

After becoming bored with the time, and nature, I begin to daydream about my mate.

I hope I meet them soon..
