It's finally the day...

The final chapter is here. Dokja has never felt so excited and nervous at the same time like this before, but it's understandable since this webnovel...

Was a novel that he read for the past decade. He grew up with it. And therefore, became a huge part of his life, aside from her.

He looked at the woman who had her head leaned on his shoulder, eyes closed shut due to long hours in the operating room. It became a habit since Mo Sukhee got a job at a huge public hospital that Dokja would come to go home with her together.

Both of them knew how bothersome it was, but at the same time, they wouldn't dare complain.

They were always together...

Sukhee then suddenly moved a bit in her sleep, burying her head closer to him. Dokja smiled and shifted his attention back to his phone and readied himself.

"oh my, at this rate, you might get sucked into your phone."

That voice... he looked up and silently gasped. Yu Sangah from the HR?!

Then the woman, Yu Sangah glanced at the person leaning closely on Dokja and gave out a teasing smile. "Oh? You never told us you have a girlfriend? Going in a date with her?"

Dokja's eyes widened and blushed. "N-no! She isn't- Well...." he stuttered for a bit before whispering, "n-not yet..."

The brunette chuckled. "sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you. By the way, you two going home?"

"yes." dokja nodded. "you too?"

"yeah. My boss was on a business trip so I kinda got lucky." then she proceeds to sit on the other side of Dokja.

The two conversed for a bit and only stopping for a moment when mo Sukhee groaned in her sleep. It was only after a few minutes that the sleeping beauty finally decided to open her eyes.

"Hmm...." she raised both hands to her face, rubbing all the sleepiness away before looking at her side, only to see two people smiling at her.

"... Is it morning yet?"

"Not yet. You're still here in the subway..." Sukhee heard the unknown woman's voice.

"oh... good. I don't wanna go to work yet." her response made Dokja and Sangah sweatdrop yet feel a bit relatable at the sentiment.

"So?" Mo Sukhee look at both Dokja and Sangah with wonder and asked, "You two are an item or something?"

"We're just co-workers/friends." the two replied almost immediately at the same time, but Sangah reeled back at what Dokja just said.

"Only co-workers?! Aren't we friends already?!"

"S-sorry! I didn't mean to--!" He was suddenly cut off with a pair of chuckles on both side and looked at the two women laughing at his flustered state.

"D-dokja... You were really cute when flustered... fuhaha..!" Sukhee put a hand on her mouth, as if trying to hold her laughter. Sangah on the other hand, wiped a singular tear from the corner of her eye as she breathed out a sigh. "No, I'm sorry for teasing you again. By the way, I'm Yu Sangah. You?" The Brunette held out a hand towards Sukhee for a shake.

Sukhee smiled widely and took her hand and shook it excitedly like a child. "Mo Sukhee." then for some reason both of them chuckled at the same time to which dokja could not understand what's so funny about this.

Seriously these two... I can tell both of them get along really well even when they just met... Dokja concluded in his mind before sighing.

BZZZ!

A message? He looked at his phone to see an email. Then he felt movement on his side and saw Sukhee picking up her phone from the white coat that she supposedly need to leave in her office.

"Oh... Apparently, I need to take the night shift of my co-worker tomorrow..." Sukhee gave out an exasperated smile. "Good bye co-worker-- whoever you are... Good bye sleep, You will be missed..." Then she look at dokja's phone with a defeated face. "Hopefully yours isn't as much of a bad news as mine..."

"It's an email from TLS123..." Dokja muttered.

Sukhee perked up when he mentioned a familiar name. "The author of the novel you read? What does it say?"

"Well... they were thanking me for reading their story and that they won a contest.... Oh! They even said that they'll give me a present."

"Really?! That's great news!" Sukhee cheered with a bright smile.

"It really is, sunshine." Dokja smiled softly at the ball of light beside him.

BZZZ!

The present is here...

Dokja immediately held Sukhee close to him as the train forcefully stopped.

Within his embrace, Mo Sukhee look down on the floor, immersed within her mindspace.

Something's wrong... Terrorist attack? Malfunction? What happened to the train operator?

"You two okay??" Dokja asked, forcing Sukhee to snap back to reality.

"Y-yes." Sangah responded with a shaky breath. "What do you think is happening?"

"There should be an announcement by now... if nothing comes our way within a few minutes or so, then something happened with the train operator..." Sukhee said, taking deep breaths to calm herself.
