Mike POV
I guess it's time I told you guys were I worked at.
At Sonic, washing dishes.
It was the easiest job I could get with no life experience before now. I mean this is my first job ever and I held it for 6 months so I think I'm doing pretty good for a demon.
"Hey, Mike!" I heard Zoey said while tieing her long red hair into a high ponytail.
Now Zoey was a trans girl, I still didn't know what trans meant really but apparently it meant that Zoey was born a guy but she wanted to be a girl. It's still confusing to be honest. Zoey had a light tan, black eyes, red long hair, and was very muscly.
"Hey, Zoey!" I said cheerily.
"I heard that your kid's old parents broke into your house." Zoey said.
"Oh yeah. Actually I'm trying to get her a new home....I can't be with her forever. I can't really handle it and I want to make sure the home she goes into is safe." I explained while looking down sadly.
"Why can't you be with her forever?" Zoey asked.
"Oh well I might be moving soon and the place I'm moving to doesn't aloud kids." I lied.
"Oh I see...have you told her that?" Zoey asked me.
"No....I'm just worry is all. Hanging out with her and Kat has been so amazing." I explained.
It was the truth. Until now Kat and I never really talk or hung out. Because of Emma, I got to have a great friend like Kat. And going back to the demon world meant leaving Kat and Emma....the people that I killed others for.....they're special to me....
"I need some alone time right now, Zoey....." I said as Zoey nodded and walked away from me.
*Zach....?* I asked.
*Yes?* Zach asked me.
*I've saved Kat's and Emma's lives haven't I?* I asked.
*You have. We are talking about how to make it seem you have died so that Kat thinks you lied about being a demon.* Zach explained.
*What if I want to stay here forever?* I asked.
*What?* Zach asked me.
*Well because of Kat and Emma I've become a better demon. And I don't want to leave them....* I explained.
*Mike! I'm your best bud! I've been helping you for the pass 6 months and now you want to stay here!?* Zach yelled at me.
*You and me never really clicked if I'm going to be honest!* I yelled.
*Fine! I'll tell the demons you want to stay. And I'll make sure you get all your powers that made you a demon taken away too!* Zach yelled as I heard him cry.
*Thanks....I guess this is goodbye?* I asked Zach.
*Yep. Goodbye Mike.* Zach said as I heard nothing in my mind. I couldn't even hear Zach talking to other demons in my mind, he really was gone. My best demon friend.....I've just lost my best demon friend....I started to cry when Zoey walked up to me.
"Hey, do you want to go drinking with me? My treat." Zoey explained.
"Yeah. Yeah I would." I said.
