As Carpathia set sail to New York City New York, Shira and I were seated with the other survivors who traveled in First Class on Titanic. The weather was different then it was when we voyaged on Titanic. When we were on Titanic the weather was chilly but gorgeous the sun shone all the time and the waters were placid (meaning they were calm)now the waters were rough and it was rainy. Instead of all 2,500 passengers and crew being on board the Titanic the scene now showed 706 survivors on board the Carpathia. Instead of seeing all 2,500 passengers on Titanic talking about the latest trends and sharing the latest rumors we were now seeing the Titanic's survivors comforting each other over the loss of members of their own herds. The Carpathia's passengers treated the Titanic's survivors with great hospitality gave up their rooms so the survivors of Titanic would have a place to sleep the Carpathia's passengers even gave their own clothes to the Titanic's survivors hot foods and beverages were served to Titanic's survivors and the public facilities on Carpathia were converted to "hospitals."
