"The universe is made up of duodecillions of particles." Reverse Zach said, "Sometimes those particles are double what they usually are, but form in the same way. That creates a mirror world. Sometimes those mirror worlds connect using wormholes."
"So what are you saying?" Daylon said.
"I'm saying that if we can reverse engineer the particles that make the wormholes," Reverse Zach said, "Then we can science-science-science our way into fixing both of our universes."
"And if we can't?" Zach asked.
"Then say your goodbyes to your friends and family."
Reverse Daylon brought up some tables and began talking with Reverse Zach as Zach walked away from the group. Daylon went over to Zach.
"What's wrong?" Daylon said, "Aren't you glad that we're gonna save the universe?"
"Yeah," Zach said, "But I'm not so glad we're working with people who tried to conquer our world. I feel like they have ulterior motives."
"I don't know, they're our only option here."
"I guess your right."
Bella arrived back a few hours later. She had gone to collect some particles from a wormhole for Reverse Zach to reverse engineer into a charge that can close the wormholes. Bella's powers had been self-explanatory up until this point, but when she said she could absorb energy they didn't know she really could.
Bella released the energy into the serum Reverse Zach made. He injected some of it into a teleportation charge.
"Let's go save the multiverse." Reverse Zach said.
They traveled in a ship to a wormhole. It was the closest one to Earth. Bella flew outside of the ship with the charge. She activated it and threw it at the wormhole. The wormhole closed within seconds.
Everyone was celebrating. But then, the unthinkable happened.
