Decided to write one from a notebook i have-

POV: 3rd

     Azul sat on the ocean floor, counting his contract scrolls. He had just fulfilled another bargain with an unsuspecting mermaid. How unfortunate for her it had been. A shadow blocks the light streaming through the octopus pot he called home. Azul rushes into the open sea, trying to figure out what the shadow could be. Suddenly, a fishing net falls over him, trapping him down against the seafloor. Startled, he flails around, struggling against the sturdy web of rope. He realizes the shadow is a ship, most likely a fishing ship from the castle just past the coast. The ship's crew pulls the net up as Azul fails to swim the other way. He pushes off the ship's side as he gets hauled upwards, only to hit his head against it, knocking himself out.

     He wakes up to being dragged across the sandy shore, still entangled in the net. Panicking once again, he starts thrashing around as his vision blurs. He prepares to strangle one of the fishermen when someone rushes from the castle. This person proceeds to scold the men, ordering them to let go of the ropes at once. Azul takes that chance as he darts out of the net, back to the waters. He catches his breath before poking his head above the surface to observe his savior. The fisherman had already retreated into town, and the only one left on the beach was the individual from the castle. Royalty, he guessed from the fancy attire. They sat on a rock close to the bottom of the cliffs as they looked beyond the ocean. The human looked at him, making eye contact for a split second. Someone calls for the person on land, and they go back to the castle. Azul's mind was bombarded with questions. Who was that? Why did they help me? Will I ever see them again? ....I'll have to thank them.
