"Hi ma" Ocean nervously bit on her nails her phone pressed tightly to her ear. The other side of the phone was quite making her nerves spike even more and her adult headspace diminish wanting to hide and crawl under a rock

"Who is this?" Ocean's heart dropped into her stomach. It was no use in saying she was okay because truly she wasn't. Her heart hurt at the three simple words to where she just hung up the phone saving herself any more embarrassment

She looked at the wall of different pictures that hung around her room eyes filling with slow tears. She was so used to getting hurt by her mother, the person that birthed her so much that she could no longer scream cry

Ocean had always counted on her mother, she couldn't say she loved her dad she tolerated him while craving for her mother's attention.

With her dad always working Ocean spent a lot of time by herself mostly trying to get in contact with her but always got hung up on before she could say anything other than her name

Ocean didn't know exactly when she was diagnosed with DID ( dissociative identity disorder) she just remembered always getting in trouble wherever she would suck on her thumb or whine during her middle school years

Her big state never can remember what she does when she's little. It's like her older mindset takes a deep deep nap but her body is still active.

When she was younger she tried so hard not to slip into little space around her dad because whenever she did she would have small bruises on herself.

It wasn't shocking that as soon as Ocean moved out for Art and Design college that he had just disappeared off the face of the earth.

It worried Ocean at first seeing that he was the one who paid for all of her expenses but when she got a huge lump sum of cash from her mother as 'shush i don't want my other family to know i have a daughter' she was practically set for life.

Even with Santana taking the initiative to pay for her rent and school no matter how much she told him not to. Because in his words, he was her daddy

"So basically you just go up to that black car and be like can i get a gram, boom that's it!" Ocean nodded at Stephanie, her friend that she had met in art class taking slow strides to the black tinted car.

She knocked three times watching it roll down to reveal a face that she had seen before but couldn't remember from where exactly

"Hello sir, may i order a gram please" Kyhier eyed the girl licking over his bottom lip nodding. He grabbed the black duffel bag that was in his passenger seat pulling out a small baggie.

"This good pretty?" Ocean looked around then saw that he was actually talking to her and couldn't stop the blush that came to her cheeks

She nodded looking down but looked back up at him the realization of who he was finally clicking

"Um, mister is your name perhaps Kyhier?" Kyhier looked up at the chubby girl tilting his head on how she knew that. He knew she wasn't a threat from seeing how she played with her nails like she was afraid to talk to him

"Yea, wassup?"

"I'm Ocean! Santana's friend the one he helps take care of" Kyhier looked at Ocean the busted out laughing making her feel embarrassed

"Tana ain't tell me about nobody pretty girl but hea youn gotta pay me" she could feel her stomach churn in embarrassment and hurt

She heated feeling like a secret, and she heated being lied to, the one person she trusted with her whole life had did both

Taking the bag with an small thank you Ocean walked back to Stephanie's car getting in and passing her the bag

She heard her mumble that the bag was filled with more than a gram doing a happy dance but Ocean was pushing back tears while blocking Santana's number
