"I told you. I have an idea." They spoke, standing calmly in the shadows, watching the King's every move. "Are you sure? A killing game? Out of all things, why that? There's so much more, we could... perhaps, invade their land and-" He was cut off by hir powerful, very much upset, glare.
"It's perfect! Make them kill each other off, ruin their friendships, leave the game insane and end up killing everyone else! It's quite easy to kidnap them too, I'll find a way, so we won't have to worry." It smirked, looking at the King. This wasn't something to be discussed, Pandora needed to do this. It would make its ambition easier, and more fun.
"Well... Fine. We can do it. We just need a list of who we're taking, alright?" The King turned away from Pandora so it couldn't see his fearful expression.
"Well for one, your daughter." Sie giggled as it saw the King flinch, its amber eyes narrowing. "There are no buts! She's coming, and she'll be in on our plan, so don't worry. I won't let her die." Pandora slithered away, leaving the King regretting his decision.
He knew one thing, he had to let his daughter now know about her fate. He prayed that the demon would keep its promise.

Poria looked up as her father entered the room. That's unusual. I thought he was in a meeting with that unusual figure. She turned around to face him, dusting off her black dress. "Yes, father?"
"Poria." He said, avoiding eye contact with his daughter. Poria frowned, tilting her head. Her father didn't commonly act like this, usually he was sweet, rarely serious. Something bad must've happened, or, perhaps, something bad will happen.
"There's something we need to talk about." He said after a long while. Poria opened her mouth to speak, but he quickly hushed her. "Everything is going to be okay, you just have to play along, alright? Can you do that for your father?" he said, walking closer to her.
"Of course, father, but what's going on?" She said, her eyebrows furrowing. She noticed that her father was shaking. What's going on? What's going to happen?
He let out a sigh. A long silence that seemed to last forever. At last, he started talking about Pandoras little "idea." He spoke quietly, so sometimes Poria had to ask him to repeat himself. He told her that she had to play along, and that she needed to be in this game. She had to act clueless, like a puppet.
A long pause followed after.
...
"I'll do it, father. I won't let you down I promise."
And so, the killing game began.
