Hello! This was inspired by my own old wrist injuries that sometimes do random tasks or work a lot. Also, there are not enough Chiluc fics in this world and I am here to help with that! If you have any ideas for this pairing, definitely send them my way!

Diluc grumbled as he went about the closing tasks for Angel's Share. The tavern had long been emptied of people, but the tasks that needed to be completed seemed to drag on. Diluc hissed when he picked up a wine bottle and felt his wrist flair in sudden pain. He quickly switched the bottle from his left hand to his right to avoid dropping it. He sorted the bottle and started to rub at his wrist to dispel the pain. He grumbled more to himself, but he knew there wasn't anything he could do as the strain on his wrists was a by product of using his claymore. Maybe he really should have chosen the sword instead he started to realize.
"Behind you." Came Charles cheerful voice as he brought another crate inside to be sorted. He noticed Diluc's expression and that he was trying to work out his wrist again when an idea came to him. "Master Diluc, would you mind switching with me? My arm is hurting a bit, but I can sort just fine."
Diluc hadn't missed the glance Charles gave to his wrist, and knew that Charles wasn't hurt, but nodded anyways as he went to the back to get the rest of the crates. He was more than happy to switch as it would be easier for him.
Thankfully with the change, the tasks didn't seem to drag on as much and the two of them were able to finish sorting everything and, after quickly cleaning the floors and surfaces, they were out and locking the doors.
"See you in a couple of days then, Sir." Charles said with a wave.
"You mean tomorrow?" Diluc asked confused as he pocketed his seat of keys to the tavern.
"No? It's the third week of the month, remember? You always take this time off." Charles chuckled as he saw the realization dawn on his boss's face. Honestly for how put together Diluc seemed he always had a habit of forgetting something in the chaos of his busy schedule.
"Right, of course, thank you Charles. If you need help with the tavern though, just let Adelinde know and I'll either come in or get someone else to." With that and a final wave, the two walked in opposite directions.
Diluc's lips quirked into a small smile as he walked back home, suddenly in a much better mood than he had been. There was a reason that he took three days off during the third week of every month. It just so happened to correspond with someone's time off as well. Diluc was in such a good mood that he wasn't even annoyed when Swan yelled a goodbye as he walked out of the gates.
Diluc never minded the walk from Mondstadt to the Dawn Winery as it gave it time to be alone and relax, but he certainly missed riding his horse on this path. Seriously did Grand Master Varka have to take every horse in Mondstadt?! He knew they were a few horses held in emergency reserve, but it's not like that helped him.
Surprisingly, Diluc noticed after he was most of the way home that he hadn't run into any slimes yet. Perhaps between his commute, and the Traveler's escapades, they finally stopped coming here. He was grateful that he was able to have an uneventful walk and sighed when the manor came into view.
Diluc had barely opened the door before Adelinde was greeting him. The man didn't even get a chance to say hello before he was before a hand was on his shoulder stopping his advance into the house. Adelinde forcibly motioned to his boots, which to his credit, were actually pretty clean, but there was no way that Adelinde was going to let them into the perfectly clean manor. Diluc apologized as he stepped back outside, removed his boots, and then dropped them into a bucket at the door.
