Chapter 3

** Previously on Chapter 2

'I thank you all Lords and Ladies but this doesn't fix my broken heart.' Perseus said. Zeus suddenly looked like a boy on Christmas when he mentioned that.

'I know! How about you join the Hunters of Artemis!' ***

** A/N Guys, I need some help with fighting scenes because I'm horrible at it. So if you can help me somehow, tell me in the comments and yeah. I'll try to respond. I hope you like this chapter! **

Percy POV: 

I woke up to see most of the Olympians staring at me as I got up from where I fainted. Zeus and Artemis were arguing about something and it all came back to me. Zeus offered me to join the Hunters of Artemis. Zeus saw that I had woken up and said, ' Boy, what do you think of my proposal.' I scratched the back of my head nervously and said,

'Is it ok with Artemis?' I said sheepishly. Zeus looked at Artemis and they seemed to have a mental conversation. 

'Yes, isn't it, daughter.' Zeus said as Artemis glared at Zeus.

'Yes, this, boy, may join my hunt.' Artemis said, glaring daggers and me. I mentally shit my pants. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! What have I gotten myself into!? I'm so screwed, I said in my head. 

'Perseus, I have decided to make you my champion. With this blessing, you are able to summon home-cooked meals and fire powers. Understand that the  fire varies on how angry or calm you are.' Hestia said before sending a bright, red ball of energy into me. My eyes were now a mixture of colours due to these blessings. It was a galaxy you could stare at forever and not get bored. It had a swirl of different colours near the Iris's making them even more pretty if they weren't before. It complimented Aphrodite's blessing and now I looked pretty badass. 

'Since nobody has anything to say I decide to end this meeting. Meeting adjourned.' Zeus said before flashing out in a bolt of lightning, leaving the smell of electricity in the hall. I shook my head, 

'What a show-off man.' I said, Hermes and Apollo chuckled at this. Fuck! I just realised that I hadn't seen my mother yet, god knows what she's going to do when she sees me! I turned around to the rest of the council and said, ' Well, that was. Eventful. Imma go right now cause I got, Saviour-Of-Olympus things to do. So bye!' I mock-saluted them before backflipping from Olympus. I summoned my wings and admired the intricacies and how totally AWESOME they looked. I flew to our apartment in Manhattan and knocked on the door. My mum opened the door before gasping at the sight of me because of the blessings from the council + Chaos before saying, 

' Percy! What happened to you? Where have you been? What have you been doing?' She asked in rapid fire. I was about to say something before I heard crying in the house. Sally ran to the dining room and I followed her to see a baby in a cot. She had sea-green eyes like mine but she inherited the black, with a brown hue, hair that Paul had. I was at loss for words. I stared at the baby and then at Sally and then back at the baby. ' Her name is Estelle, Percy. She's your younger half-sister!' I softened a bit and I beamed at Sally. 

'This is sick! She's like a female version of me, but with a few differences! This is so AWESOME!!' I cried and then Estelle stopped crying and started to jump in her cot, mimicking me. 

'Hey, what's the racket all ab-, Percy!' Paul said as he came out of the bedroom. He gave me a hug and stood next to Estelle. I was taken aback by this! I had a baby sister! A half-sister really, but still! That's so cool! Suddenly, my instincts kicked in. I smelt something. Something sweet! Something like, cookies! I and Estelle cried out at the same time. 

'Cookies! There are cookies! I want cookies! Cookies!!!' I squealed like a 7-year-old child. Estelle mimicked me again, shrieking at every word I said, making it more dramatic. Sally laughed and she went to take the cookies from the counter as I played with Estelle. She came with the cookies and I munched on them as Estelle ate crumbs that Sally fed her. 'I won't be able to stay long. I have something to do and I can't guarantee I'll be able to come a lot.' I said through a mouthful of cookies. 

'That's fine honey, just don't do anything rash and come back to me alive when you visit. Okay, sweetie?' I saluted her and kissed Estelle on the cheek before flying out of the apartment Percy style. I flew to wherever I thought the Hunt would be and I pinpointed a flash of silver in a forest. I flew at speeds rivalling Hermes and I decided to make a grand entrance for the Hunters. They were fighting the Minotaur and a small army of hellhounds. I stopped flying and let myself fall to the ground. I dropped to the ground in a kneeling position and I stood up and I put myself on fire. I raised my hand a massive wave of fire fell upon the Minotaur's army. I summoned lightning for the few that remained alive. I walked to the Minotaur and unsheathed Riptide. I noticed something different about it, the blade was midnight black like my wings. I guess I'll figure it out later, I thought. 

'How many times do I have to kill you, beef-head? Can't you just stay in Tartarus for once!' I said before jumping forward with godly speeds to the Minotaur, 'I guess I'll have to teach you a proper lesson this time.' I whispered. I slashed at the Minotaur's arms and I cut his legs off as he just stood there unable to move. I cut open his stomach and mangled his body, cutting and connecting each of his organs with different ones as he roared in pain. 'Die. You piece of ugly shit.' I said. I stopped the flames that covered my body and I put them into my hand. I put it straight into his mouth and he exploded covering me in ichor. His head rolled to Artemis's feet as she and the Hunters watched me brutally kill the Minotaur. I mockingly bowed to them a grin across my face they couldn't see because of Chaos's armour. Thalia regained her composure first. She aimed her bow at me and the hunters followed her lead. 

'Who are you, boy? Why are you here?' Thalia asked while still aiming her bow at me. Artemis tried to intervene but I raised my hand signalling her to wait. 

'Can't remember your own cousin, pinecone face?' I said as I threw back my head making my hood fall off. She ran to me. Instead of giving me a hug, unfortunately for me, I got an electric-powered punch in the face. I fell and said, 'That hurts you know. Being the saviour of Olympus doesn't get me special perks like no-pain-from-Thalia's-punches.' Rubbing my cheek I got up and Thalia crushed my ribs in a bear hug. ' Also, it still hurts when someone breaks your ribs in a hug. Just so you know.' Thalia stopped and laughed. Artemis cleared her throat and said, 

'This is Perseus Jackson. Our new Guardian of the Hunt.' There were protests and some hunters even shot their bows at me. 

'Percy!' Thalia cried out. There was a mini supernova in my eyes and the arrows materialised into nothing. Something else I have to figure out later. The Hunt stared at me, confused at how I did that. Rage built up inside of me at the thought of being betrayed by the Hunters.

'I will NOT tolerate any harm to myself. Piss me off and I will deliver the same back to you. Bear that in mind hunters. You do not want to mess around with me.' I said as Greek fire started to lick at my armour.' Artemis did not want her hunters to be hurt so she immediately said,

'Hunters, go set up camp. I want it done in 30 minutes. Chop chop!' She said. I felt someone touch my shoulder and my anger subsided, only a bit, but the fire went away. Artemis said, 'I know you don't like the first impression they put on you. But remember that they came from places where males acted like pigs. So just bear that in mind. They don't think your any different, Perseus.' She said. I mumbled, okay and I looked at her. She was in her 20-year-old form and she was a bit taller than me. I asked, 

'What do I do now? Since I'm the guardian of your hunt.' I scratched the back of my head and then she said,

' You can just rest for now and set up where you want to stay. Unfortunately for you, I don't think you can sleep near the camp since the Hunters won't tolerate it. Get up at 6:00 am and knock on my tent and I'll give you your chores for tomorrow.' I nodded and I flew around 2 miles from Hunter's camp and I set up camp there. I started by sitting on a tree and decided I'll make it more comfortable later. I was exhausted from all the events today and I needed to SLEEP. Long day I thought. Hopefully, it gets better being with the Hunters, I thought. I closed my eyes and fell into the realm of Morpheus.
