As Drilvas stepped out of the dimly lit room, the soft glow of the palace's corridors enveloped him once more. He couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered in the air, the weight of his newfound identity bearing down on him like a heavy burden.

Lost in thought, Drilvas wandered aimlessly through the palace's labyrinthine corridors, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. With each passing moment, the weight of his doubts and fears grew heavier, threatening to consume him whole.

As if drawn by an unseen force, Drilvas found himself drawn towards the grand library that loomed before him like a beacon of knowledge amidst the darkness. With a hesitant step, he pushed open the heavy oak doors and stepped into the hallowed halls of the Royal Library.

The library was a vast labyrinth of towering bookshelves and winding corridors, filled to the brim with ancient tomes and forbidden knowledge. Drilvas felt a sense of awe wash over him as he took in the sight before him, the sheer magnitude of the library's collection leaving him breathless.

Lost in the maze of shelves, Drilvas wandered deeper into the heart of the library, his footsteps echoing softly against the polished marble floors. With each passing moment, he felt himself drawn further into the depths of the library, his curiosity piqued by the promise of untold secrets and hidden truths.

As he wandered, Drilvas stumbled upon a secluded alcove hidden away in the depths of the library, its shelves lined with dusty tomes and forgotten manuscripts. Intrigued, he approached the alcove and ran his fingers along the spines of the ancient books, his heart racing with excitement at the prospect of uncovering hidden knowledge.

With trembling hands, Drilvas reached out and selected a dusty tome from the shelf, its pages yellowed with age and its cover adorned with intricate runes and symbols. As he flipped through the pages, Drilvas felt a sense of wonder wash over him, the words on the page weaving a tapestry of ancient lore and forgotten legends.

Lost in the depths of the book, Drilvas immersed himself in its pages, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. With each passing moment, he felt himself drawn further into the mysteries of the past, his thirst for knowledge driving him ever onward.

As the hours passed, Drilvas lost track of time amidst the ancient tomes and forgotten manuscripts, his mind consumed by the pursuit of knowledge. With each turn of the page, he felt himself drawing closer to the truth, his journey of discovery unfolding before him like a tale spun from the fabric of time itself.

And so, amidst the hallowed halls of the Royal Library, Drilvas embarked on a journey of self-discovery, his quest for knowledge leading him ever deeper into the labyrinth of the past. With each step he took, he felt himself growing stronger and wiser, his spirit illuminated by the light of ancient wisdom and forgotten truths.

For Drilvas, the journey had only just begun, and the road ahead promised both challenges and revelations beyond his wildest imagination. But with each passing moment, he felt a sense of purpose guiding him forward, his thirst for knowledge driving him ever onward towards the truth that awaited him in the heart of the library's labyrinthine halls.

As Drilvas sat in the dimly lit room, his mind weighed heavy with the burden of his newfound identity and the uncertainties that lay ahead. Lost in thought, he hardly noticed the slight creak of the door as it opened, followed by the soft footsteps that grew louder until they came to a stop beside him.

"You seem tense, young man," said an unfamiliar voice, pulling Drilvas out of his reverie.

Startled, Drilvas slowly opened his eyes to find a stranger standing before him. The figure had short dark hair, with pale skin and sharp, angular features. His piercing violet eyes held a gentle warmth that seemed to penetrate Drilvas' troubled soul.

"Are you alright, dear?" the stranger asked kindly, concern evident in his voice.

Drilvas hesitated for a moment before shaking his head slowly.

"Do you know who I am?" the stranger inquired, his tone patient and understanding.

Drilvas stared at the man, trying to make sense of the situation. The man tilted his head slightly, offering a reassuring smile.

"My name is Haslet, the god of dreams," the man explained calmly. "I live across the river from here." He gestured towards a small patch of land between two rivers visible from the palace.

Drilvas furrowed his brow, puzzled by Haslet's words. "What do you mean, you live across the river?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.

Haslet sighed softly. "That is a story for another time," he replied cryptically. "As for you, what is your name?" he asked, changing the subject.

Drilvas hesitated once more before replying, "I'm Drilvas."

Haslet smiled gently at Drilvas' response. "It seems like it will be very difficult for you to find peace. It was hard enough for me as well," he remarked, his voice tinged with empathy. "If it makes things easier for you, would you mind accompanying me to the Royal Gardens tomorrow?" he offered, extending a hand of friendship.

Drilvas considered Haslet's offer for a moment before nodding slowly. Haslet smiled in relief and patted him softly on the back before taking his leave.

Just as Drilvas began to relax, he heard another unfamiliar voice nearby.

"Is this seat taken?" the quiet voice inquired, breaking the silence.

Drilvas peeked out from behind the table to see a tall, slender figure dressed in green and golden attire sitting in front of him. The figure had long, straight black hair and deep black eyes that seemed to hide countless secrets behind their veil.

Startled once more, Drilvas coughed nervously and shifted back into the shadows, feeling a mix of embarrassment and fear wash over him.

"Don't worry, young man. You're safe," the stranger reassured him with a chuckle. "My name is Edgrin, the god of wisdom."

Drilvas relaxed slightly at Edgrin's calming presence and gave a small nod in acknowledgment.

"Why are you here?" Drilvas whispered, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Edgrin smiled knowingly. "Because I love this place too," he replied cryptically.

Their conversation continued as Edgrin shared stories of his long life and his connection to the royal library. Drilvas listened intently, captivated by the wisdom and knowledge that Edgrin possessed.

As the night wore on, Edgrin suggested that Drilvas should head off, reminding him that the night would soon come to an end and that there were matters he needed to attend to.

Grateful for the conversation and the company, Drilvas thanked Edgrin before gathering his belongings and preparing to leave the room. With a final farewell, Edgrin bid him farewell and left Drilvas to contemplate the events of the night.
