sakusa kiyoomi was never one to voluntarily go to a party. never. the thought of a large crowd drinking and dancing was his nightmare. but here he was, following you through the crowd of drunken college students. dragging you towards his car and driving you home. he carries you to your bed, tucking you in and making a mental note to bring you something for the hangover you would have in the morning. he pauses to examine your features and smiles. perfect. he thinks.
"i love you." he whispers quietly before taking his leave. this was the only time he would ever have the courage to tell you he loved you; the times when he knew you wouldnt be able to hear him.

he would do anything for you, even if he had to face his worst nightmares.
his friends knew very well that he had a big crush on you; although he never confessed nor did he want to. his mind was plagued with the thought of ruining the friendship you two had built over the last 3 years. but he knew it was slowly killing him: pretending that he wasnt madly in love with you. he wanted to be yours.
a lot of people on campus were already convinced that you and sakusa were a couple. he didnt mind these rumours; as long as it kept other guys away. not that any other guy could compete with him anyway; sakusa kiyoomi was one of the top three aces in japan and was definitely the most attractive person on campus. who wouldnt want him right?
atsumu, hinata, and bokuto were currently sitting in sakusas dorm, about to head towards volleyball practice. except, sakusa had received a text from you asking him to bring you your hoodie you had left at his dorm. he knew he would be late for practice, but what if you caught a cold? would you be freezing without this hoodie? no, most likely not. but sakusa would gladly take any excuse to see you.
"kiyoomi cmon, we're all dying here. ask them out already!!" atsumu exclaimed. everyone knew sakusa was dedicated to volleyball, always striving for success. yet, he was always willing to drop everything for you. his friends knew this and it killed them that sakusa still kept all his feelings bottled up.
"no." he replied bluntly. he grabbed your hoodie and made his way to your dorm, leaving his friends. coach is going to kill me. he thought to himself. anything for you though right?
