The quartet walked until the sun started to slip behind the earth, still with no trace of Bob and Mary. They found a weeping willow tree that served them some protection from the dangerous world outside. Sue warped her wings around herself to keep herself warm. Mighty meatballs, she thought, I'm scared. She watched the others fall slowly asleep but stayed wide awake. Sue kept her eyes on the leaves that protected her from the forest. Clank, something fell beside her. She got up to see what it was. An acorn. Another fell on her head. "Ow," she screeched.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry," a high pitched voice said. "I did not mean to hurt you. I'm gathering acorns for winter. Would you mind giving those back please?"
Sue looked at her hoofs, then back up at the squirrel. "Um," she said. "I can't really pick them up." The squirrel jumped down from her perch in the tree and gathered her acorns. "I'm Beth," she said with a thick British accent. "I'm pleased to meet you. You must be Sue. The first ever pegacorn." Beth said in total awe.
