Chapter Sixteen
(Tubbo's POV)

I feel dizzy, a keep bouncing up and down due to being on Golden Rod's Shoulders. Damn he's strong-

Were running, Fast, he keeps picking up his pace, going faster and faster, I have no clue where we are at this point, all I see is the woods surrounding us, the orange glowing sunset under the trees canopies.

"Where-" I'm still in the middle of processing a sentence. "Where are we?" I ask

"None of your fucking business, Hero." Shroud says, with a bitterly tone.

"Wow- Your politeness is key, huh?" I roll my eyes, as Golden Rod sets me down on a fallen over tree, then Shroud pins me to the log with webs. (NOT WEORDLY, ITS SO HE DOESNT ESCAPE)

"Actually, it Is his business Shroud, if I don't tell him, we're practically kidnapping him-" Goldy Locks says.

"You technically did kidnap m-" Im cut off by the Smaller spider kid.

"Shut up-" he says, still in a rude, cold tone.

"This is my get away place, I come here when I need escape from the world, or time to myself for a mental health day" Golden Rod says, smiling while sitting next to me.

"Thats actually- kind of sweet!" I say, a huge grin forming ear to ear.

"Let me get that for you" Golden Rod says, pulling the webs off of me, carefully, making sure not to hurt me.

I flash a small smile, giving a 'thanks!' Look towards him.

He nods in a 'you're welcome' way.

Shroud sits next to him, I have a thousand questions running through my mind.

Why is he being nice to me?

Does he like me?

Is this a trick?

Are they going to kidnap me?

Who are they?

Why does Golden Rod look so familiar?

Do I know him?

Questions just keep piling on, before I finally ask one of my main questions.

"Why are you being nice to me?" I look up at him, with a confused yet caring look.

He sighs, before looking down at me. "You know- Villains aren't born, Bee Boy, They're made. I never wanted to hurt you, or be a massive dick to you, if I'm being honest. You'd seem like a nice friend, a caring one, someone who'd always be welcoming, or forgiving."

We made eye contact, he was smiling brightly, which caused me to smile even brighter, then we bursted out laughing due to the awkwardness.

"Whats so funny-?" Shroud had said.

"No clue!" Golden Rod said, still dieing  laughing.

"We are so stupid-" I spat out, between laughs.

Shroud started to laugh along with us.

"Actually," I started. "I dont want to be enemies, you seem like an awesome friend, funny, caring, stupid, just- awesome in general!" I had the biggest smile on my face while saying that.

I could tell Golden Rod was hesitant to say something, like he wanted to, but was scared to ask.

I gave him an encouraging look, to show him that I was there for him.
