Relationship: Tsuyu Asui and Shoto Todoroki *platonic best friends*

Being extra careful as to not burn his fingertips on the hot green porcelain, Todoroki carries the two cups of hot chocolate back into the commons room. He moves slowly as to not spill anything onto the floor, dreading the idea of standing any longer after today's restless training session. However, just as the exhausted young man reaches the couch, he finds his friend who had been awake moments earlier had fallen fast asleep.

Last night someone accidentally left one of the windows open, letting the cold winter weather accumulate in the room. Now it was nearly impossible for the frog girl to remain awake in the commons, even with all her heavy clothes and the heat being cranked to the highest setting.

Placing the mugs down onto the coffee table, Shoto lifts Asui up from where she was curled up on the couch, sitting down beside and letting her lay against his left side. Wrapping the thick blanket around them, Todoroki begins to use his fire to help increase the frog girl's own body temperature. A minute or two passes and she stirs back to life, black eyes peering open and looking around as if she didn't recognize her home for nearly the last year.

Letting out a sleepy hum, Asui asks while rubbing her eyes, "Did I fall asleep again?" Todoroki nods, handing his friend her mug with little yellow frogs painted on it. "Thanks," she croaks with a sorta smile since her features prevented much emotion from showing, "sorry about falling asleep on you."
Todoroki eases her worries, "Don't be sorry, it's not your fault."

"You really made hot chocolate? I thought you hated being around hot water?"
"Yeah, but you like it hot. Mine is cold." Curious, Asui extends a finger and touches the side of Todoroki's mug. Cold.
She gives a giggle, "Should've guessed as much."

As she continues to grow more and more awake with the rising heat, Tsuyu decides to make conversation. "Did you hear about what happened to Pony-Chan?"
"Who?" Todoroki's brows scrunch in confusion at the name.
"The little blonde girl from 1-B. You know, with the big ram horns?"
It takes a moment more before Shoto's eyes light up in recognition, "Oh yeah, I forgot. So, what happened?"

"Apparently she was on her way to school with some of her classmates, when she slipped on ice and broke her ankle." The shock that comes wears off quickly for Todoroki, not very surprised since they were experiencing bad weather at the moment.
"The roads have been very icy this week," he reminds as he takes a drink of his ice cube-filled hot chocolate, "it's kept a lot of people inside and unable to go to work."
"I don't understand why they didn't cancel school. Not everyone lives nearby!"
"True. Maybe it's from all the villains'attacks that took away from school?"

Tsuyu ribbits in an angry way, "Kero, for all the times we've nearly been killed by the League, those attacks should be considered extra credit! Now poor Pony-Chan is going to get behind in classes with her broken ankle."
"I'm sure her teacher will find something for her to do. Oh hey," Todoroki turns his head to looks down at the girl, "did you hear about Mineta getting suspended?"

Asui's jaw dropped and eyes grew huge, "What did you just say?"
"Sure. 'Did you hear about Mineta getting suspended?'" Out of nowhere Asui sits up on her knees, her bigger-than-average hands grasping tightly onto Shoto's shoulders. In spite of this his face remains blank, head tilting however as he became a little confused.
"Shoto-Chan, I am going to need you to tell me every single little detail you know about this."

"Well, Kaminari put it as all of a sudden he became more hormone than human, somehow getting into a girls locker room and hid in an unused locker. He was caught having taken pictures, so he has been suspended for the next few weeks. Also, he was put on probation."

Tsuyu slowly shakes her head with a sigh, sitting back down on the couch, "I knew something like this was going to happen!"
"He should have been expelled," Todoroki proclaims, "but I guess justice just comes with too much paperwork."
"I agree. Maybe after this little stunt, Mineta will straighten out."
"I doubt that. He may become even sneakier than before."

"Yeah, you may be right." Tsuyu nods as Todoroki takes a drink, licking the melting whipped cream off his lips.
"By the way, how are things going with Ashido?" Upon hearing the name a sorta smile shows on Asui's face, cheeks turning pink as she pictures her girlfriend.
"These last few months have been some of the happiest I've ever been, kero." Asui confesses, "Mina is so energetic but can be relaxed when she wants to be. She's also so very sweet and caring towards me."

Hearing about her happiness, Shoto gives a smile, "That's really good to hear."
"What about you? Have you met anyone yet?"
Shrugging, Todoroki looks down at the blanket covering his and the frog girl's laps, "I'll probably never have time for something like that. While I am happy for you, not everyone has that kind of luck in love."

"Don't say that, i'm sure you'll find someone! You're gonna find a really nice guy and you two will be just as happy as I am with Mina."
Todoroki gives a chuckle, "I can only hope."
