A week later the house is finally done and we officially move in.
"Are you ready?" Roxy smiles at me as we pull up to the house. I smirk and nod slowly "I'm ready."
We get out the car and walk towards the house "I hope it still doesn't smell of paint so we can finally start buying flooring and furniture." As Roxy opens the door we see a light grey fluffy carpet. I raise my eyebrow and walk in "or not?" I look at Roxy as we walk into the already furnished house.
I look towards the stairs and shrug "who did this?" She shrugs and looks towards the kitchen where a vase of flowers and chocolates are sitting "I'm guessing it was whoever left these?" She walks towards them and lifts up a note beside the chocolates "I know how stressful it is moving and getting furniture so this is a welcome present from me and Caleb. PS we even called the delivery company and got your stuff early so saved yous the trouble of unpacking your stuff." She shows me the card and smirks "so that is why the moving company didn't know what happened to our stuff? Surely they didn't do the full house?" I look towards the ceiling and smirk "I hope they got me a nice bed!"
We both run upstairs and into our bedrooms. "Wow!" I open my mouth in shock as I look at my room all furnished with a lovely large queen size bed with a large headboard. I look towards the matching drawers and wardrobe "they even got me matching drawers!" She walks towards my room and smirks "they got me yellow bedding!"
I walk towards her bedroom and smile "we got the same drawers." She walks towards the spare bedroom and shrug "what did they do with this though?" I shrug and walk towards her "spare bedroom maybe? Let's check."
She opens the door and we look inside the white painted wall room with a large bed and a set of drawers "cute." I look towards the stairs and smile "this is exactly how I pictured it." She wraps her arm around me "me too weirdly." I shrug as we walk towards the stairs "shall we order a Chinese and invite them round as a thank you gift?" She nods agreeing and gets her phone from her pocket "I will call him just now." I look towards the kitchen and shrug "I will go and grab the wine and beer." I grab my purse and car keys before heading out the door.
