Phone calls

"Taro we have to tell Y/n to come to the hospital. Jungwoo isn't feeling any better." Sungchan looks from the door frame to see Jungwoo throwing up the jello he ate. He hears a sigh and a nod from Shotaro, but he doesn't look too sure. 

"Sungchan I love Y/n as much as you do, but they literally saw someone die right in front of them. I still find it hard to believe, but it must have been really scary for them." Shotaro metions making Sungchan agree. 

"You're right. Imagine how they'll react to seeing Jungwoo like this." Sungchan thinks then notices two people coming down the hallway. 

"Y/n...and Haechan?" Sungchan questions as Y/n goes to hug their two friends. 

"Are you feeling okay? How's everyone?" Shotaro asks worried. 

"We're all fine Mark hyung is still a little shaken up though, but he's okay." Haechan answers as Y/n goes into Jungwoo's room. Though something felt off about Y/n. It wasn't their Y/n. Y/n's hugs felt different, Shotaro knows because he always hugs Y/n. 

"So what brings you two here? I would think Renjun would bring Y/n to see Jungwoo." Sungchan asks as Shotaro agrees. 

"Renjun has classes today and we were hanging. Plus I knew they missed Jungwoo and they know he hasn't been feeling as great, so they have been looking for a chance to visit him. " Haechan explianes. 

"This is a Y/n and Jungwoo thing, I don't want to be there while they're together." Haechan says as he leans back on the wall. Sungchan nods and crosses his arms. To Shotaro it seems he hasn't picked up on what's going on. 

'Channie.....that's not Y/n. They would have talked to us before they went into the room.' Shotaro thinks to himself.

"I bet Jungwoo's a little happier right? Even though Y/n is taken now." Sungchan added making Haechan look up at him. 

"What does that mean?" Haechan asks him. Sungchan smiles. 

"Well Jungwoo likes Y/n. This whole time he's been here he's-" Sungchan's mouth was covered by Shotaro's hand.

"Sungchan! Jungwoo wouldn't like that you're telling someone his deepest darkest secret." Shotaro snaps at him making him nod. As on cue Y/n comes out of the room and nods at Haechan. They don't spare a glance at Sungchan or Shotaro and just leave. 

"I'll see you guys at school." Haechan leaves to catch up with Y/n. Sungchan rushes into Jungwoo's room at Shotaro sees Haechan and Y/n leave then hears Sungchan yell for him. 

"Shotaro! Get a doctor he's not breathing!" Sungchan cried as he tries CPR on Jungwoo. 

...

"So there was a good reason to do this. You were right, he did like them." Haechan says walking out of the hospital. Y/n suddenly becomes Jaemin and he chuckles. 

"And Jeno said learning shapeshifting was useless. Now we don't have to worry about him. But Those two." Jaemin says as him and Haechan walk to the bus stop. 

"Jaemin what should we do about them though?" Haechan asks looking at Jaemin. He doesn't look at him and sighs. 

"We'll most likely deal with them, but they don't pose a threat...."

"Yet." 

...

  Sungchan and Shotaro sit in a waiting room while the doctors work on Jungwoo. Shotaro pulls out his phone and calls someone he thinks that could help. 

"Hey Winwin hyung..." Shotaro says standing up and walking away from Sungchan. Shotaro rubs his face and leans against the wall. 

"Hey Shotaro you okay? You didn't show up to class, you missed some notes I could send them you too if you want." Winwin asks him with worry in his voice. 

"Yeah that would be great, I actually have a question for you." Shotaro mentions and hears Winwin agree.

"Sorry to mention this, but you're still dating Professor Nakamoto right?" Shotaro heard choking on the other end of the phone. Probably cause Winwin was caught off guard and was most likely drinking something too. 

"S-sorry, but y-yeah we're still dating." A student and teacher relationship. Shotaro accidentally found both of them kissing when I went to see Professor Nakamoto for a question. Good thing Yuta was able to agree to Shotaro's terms, cheat sheets for every exam. Since then Shotaro kept their secret, but now he needs to know something.

"Are you with him right now?" Shotaro asks him. 

"Maybe..why?" Winwin questions his friend. 

"Can you ask if Y/n was in his class today? I know they have his class today." Shotaro was holding his breath. 

"Yeah I'll ask him." Winwin tells him, then he is met with silence for a brief moment. This silence was too loud for Shotaro, he could hear his heart beat in his ear. 

"He said yes they were in class." Winwin tells him, Shotaro thanks him and hangs up. 

"Fuck...that means." Shotaro puts his hand over his mouth. 

"That really wasn't Y/n...I was right and that also means....Jungwoo hyung was right as well." Shotaro sides down and is now sitting on the ground. Everything Jungwoo said was right, but now Jungwoo might be dead and he realized it was too late. 

How is he going to tell Sungchan, what could be Renjun's plan with Y/n, could they even save Y/n at all now? 

  All these thoughts were going through his head and then felt a hand on his shoulder. He looks up to see Sungchan. 

"The doctor is back and Jungwoo's family is in his room." Sungchan tells him making his nod. He stands up and walks over to the doctor. The doctor starts talking to them and both of their eyes go wide. They look at each other and run to Jungwoo's room. 

  As they get to the door frame they see his family all round him, crying. His mother was being held by his father. Crying for her son. 

"H-hyung...." Sungchan says as he drops to his knees. Shotaro pulls out his phone and puts it to his ear. 

"Hey Shotaro can I call you back? I'm studying for a test right now." 

"Jungwoo's dead."
