"Do you even know who I am?" Tia maintains a dangerously calm voice and looks at the cashier with eyes that can easily tell that she doesn't think more of him than casual trash. As the cashier keeps quiet, she continues, "I am the daughter of Miranda Kerr. The Miranda Kerr."

"But I can't give this to you if you don't pay, even if you were the daughter of the queen!" the cashier looks a little helpless. They have been bickering about the fact that Tia doesn't have enough money on her to buy a new smartphone for more than a quarter now.

Tia drops the box, the cashier worriedly follows the box with his eyes till it hits the ground with a soft smack. Tia puts up a sweet smile, "you know what, keep your fucking smartphone. I don't need it. I'll tell mommy, she knows how to handle poor people like you!"

"Weren't you the one who couldn't pay for your smartphone?" the cashier bravely tries, after he has picked up the box and put it on the counter. He looks at Tia and smiles back, "isn't your mother's career done with anyway?"

Tia grumbles and turns around, flipping her dark brown coloured hair over her shoulder. "You will hear from me!"

"I can't wait!" the cashier waves as Tia storms out of the shop.

Walking through the streets of LA, she tries to find her old smartphone. She smashed it on the ground while on the phone with her father yesterday and the screen was filled with cracks. She wanted to go out with her friends yesterday, but her father speaks a limited amount of English. He couldn't understand her, she got impatient and threw a tantrum, then she threw her phone.

Tia sighs, "how embarrassing, stupid cashier." She was used to not having enough money, but usually she was able to work it out with cashiers, sometimes she would pay later, and sometimes mentioning her mother would be enough. Her mother, and probably also her father, didn't want to let her grow up with access to all the money and limited the amount of money on her credit-card. Giving her access to all of their wealth would only spoil her, but it was too late for that, unfortunately. Tia knew she could act spoiled at times, however, she liked to blame her parents, especially her father, that good-for-nothing. He has never had a job and even now never goes out. Nonetheless, he is too busy to watch her or her brother. He is either throwing parties or inside his "workroom". He should have been a good dad when mom was never at home, now she's spoiled.

She went through her contacts, trying hard to scroll since the broken screen wasn't working along. She needed to contact the driver of her limousine, walking all the way home would be way too long. And her high heels were killing her. She could barely make out the name 'Kris' before contacting him. Tia told him to hurry, she didn't bring her jacket and the noon was getting colder.

Ten minutes later, Kris drove past the sidewalk to pick her up, Tia gratefully hopped inside the car.

"What would I do without you?" Tia asked him with a smile, while sinking into the soft and heated seat.

"Probably walk all the way back, miss," Kris looked at her through his sunglasses. He was about the same age as her dad, maybe slightly older. His hair was blond, although you could sometimes see black strands, mostly at the roots. He was Chinese, but his English was flawless. We was able to speak many more languages, including Korean, but she had never tried it out. Her dad spoke Korean with him though, but they didn't talk much. It almost seemed as if they didn't really like each other. Tia had no idea why that would be, though she didn't really care either.

"No one is at home, so you will have the whole house for yourself, miss," Kris informed her while tapping the steer, impatiently waiting in front of a traffic light.
