Stella, sorella di Thomas e gemella di Aisha, è morta sei mesi prima, lasciando nel cuore dei fratelli un vuoto incolmabile a cui entrambi cercano di non pensare. Aisha ogni sera beve per dimenticare, ma l'unica cosa che riesce a fare è solo sentirsi più vulnerabile e spezzata senza la sua metà. Thomas invece ha deciso di superare il dolore della perdita, eliminando dalla sua libreria ogni libro riguardante il cioccolato, il cibo preferito di Stella. Ma quando un giovane pieno di passione entrerà nella sua libreria, per Thomas sarà difficile e doloroso rivedere negli occhi di un altro la felicità, ma sopratutto l'amore per il cioccolato.
