Harry picked me up as soon as he got down to where I was.

I am such a fragile idiot. Hailey and Kailey called 911.

They are twin sisters, that's why they have such similar names.

Zayn, somehow, fell back asleep. Louis was still in the kitchen.

He had no idea what was going on until I screamed again. He ran outside by the time I screamed, "Where's Lou?!".

The ambulance arrived a few seconds later and we were off to the hospital.

I don't know why, but they put me on the gas that makes you all loopsy.

Maybe to take away the pain. Harry kissed me right before they took me into the emergency room.

Louis called out something that sounded like," Blood!".

I couldn't make out the rest of what he said. I looked down at my left leg.

At first, I thought there was Jell-o on my leg.

Blood was dripping down my leg. It was scary.

The rest was a little hazy after I fainted from seeing the blood.

"Grammy?! I thought you were dead!" I yelled to my great-great-great grandmother.

I was about to die.

Harry could hear me from outside the ER.

Harry yelled to me. "Stay with me, love!!!!!!!!!"

Hailey called to me, too, but I fell under a trance from the bright light I was seeing, so I didn't hear her.

"We're losing her! WHERE ARE THE BLOOD PACKS?!" one of the nurses yelled. I heard a long, loud bleep.

"Monica is not going to make it", one of the doctors said to Harry, Kailey, Louis, Liam, Niall, and Hailey.

"MONICA!!!" Harry screamed like a little girl. I tried hard to keep my heart beating.

I heard individual bleeps from the monitor.

The doctor came back in and asked the nurse what was happening.

My heart was beating for everyone out there waiting to go home because I was supposed to be dead. I knew it was Gram making sure I'd live through this terrible accident, but it was my fault.

This was all my fault for being such an idiot.

My whole family has been clumsy on my Dad's side (that's how he fell off of a roof and was pronounced dead an hour later) and my Mom's side was graceful.

I guess the time I jump out of the wrong window, it has to be my Dad's side that overpowers.

The weirdest thing is that it's almost midnight already and I fell at half-past noon. My Dad was dead an hour after he was rushed to the ER.

I should be dead.

Gram, and probably Dad too, are helping me survive this, when I shouldn't.

I stopped thinking about this and pumped my heart the best I could until I was stable.

I landed slowly on the shed, but I had three broken bones in my arm.

The worst part of it was that I had to stay here for three days to make sure I recover.

I fell asleep an hour later.

Harry woke me up the next morning. I forgot it was a special day.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MONICA!!!!!!!!" Harry and the others yelled.

"Thanks, guys," I said sadly.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

"I kinda didn't want to spend my whole birthday in the HOSPITAL!" I yelled at Harry.

Everyone but Harry started filing out the door of my room in the hospital.

"We have a surprise for you, love!" Harry said."I hope you like it."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MONICA!!!!!!!!!" my best-est friend ever yelled.

"CARTER!" I yelled.

"What are you doing here?!" Carter was a tall, brown-haired girl. She was funny, never sophisticated.
