The Fire Within

Inside,

There lies a small flame.

Warming the small

Kind flame is.

But the flame,

Is soon fueled by anger.

Growing larger each day.

And stronger by each second.

Red,orange,and yellow.

All blending into one shape.

It takes the form of a small child.

Pure rage within the child's soul.

Scorching the ground tar black as the child goes.

Leaving small footprints in the once green grass.

Burning the air it breathes.

And a small laughter echoing in the breeze.

It's laughter is all that is left

After it consumes it's victim's existence.

You'll never believe it all started

With once a small,kind,controlled flame.

Now dangerous,heartless,and uncontrollable.

It leaves It's name in the breeze.

Followed with It's child-like laughter.
