The last thing I had on my mind was just to make it to bed and sleep. That's it! Just a quick shower to get ready the ick off me, throw on a baggy ass shirt and crash into bed. Maybe snuggle with my big bed hogging wolf, Xena. If she lets me that is. I definitely didn't expect to come home to HIM being there. I mean I half expected to see my twin brother, Deku. Only because I had ran into him earlier in the night. It was nice getting to team up with him again. A relief to know that he was at least physically okay for the most part.
"Im sorry. I know I'm late, but I got you something. It's your favorite." I say as I finally get inside to my place. "Xena? Beautiful partner of mine?" I scowl some not getting any kind of response or greeting from her. I shrugged it off for now, she may was outside and just hadn't made it back yet. I wasn't too worried about it as I locked the door behind me and headed to our little kitchen. I had my back to the main room of my apartment as I put away the few things I got on my way home. "I'll cook it up for you later, Xe. Once I've slept some and won't burn the place down" I spoke out loud as if the big wolf was just sprawled out on the couch in the other room. "I'm talking to her like she understands English...", I mumble as I straighten up and shut the fridge again then instantly freeze feeling strong arms slide around my waist.
The freeze only lasted mere seconds though before my body relaxed back into his chest. I tilt my head out of habit feeling him hide into his spot at my neck. My arm automatically hugs around his arms at my waist as I reach back and gently run my fingers through his spikey blonde hair. I smile softly when he instantly melts and relaxes more against me. "Kiri is gonna be pissed when he wakes and your not there next to him" I whisper softly to him, turning my head as best able so he can hear me. I know I'd be pissed if I was him and I had fallen asleep in his arms and then woke up to him gone. Especially since it's only been a few days since he got back home and just barely over a week since the accident where we damn near lost him entirely. Forever. "You hear me, babe?" I whisper to him and gently nudge him to get his attention, slowly stop with playing with his hair. In which I just get a grumble in response and for him to nudge nuzzle more into my neck and hand. I shake my head slightly and carefully turn in his arms to face him, gently touching his bandaged cheek with one hand and putting my other hand over his heart. Closing my eyes when he puts his forehead against mine.
"Kats..."
Sighing softly I stayed quiet, slowly moving my arms to around his neck and just holding him. I hated seeing him like this. It always leaves a major pit in my stomach though this time that pit was lit with the fire of revenge. I wanted to do everything in my power to go find and take my revenge out on the asshole that tried taking him from me. I know I wasn't the only one. My brother was one for sure. Hell he was currently probably working on finding the son of a bitch now. I bit my lip feeling him hid away into my neck again, biting my lip more feeling the wetness from his tears. That alone just makes my heartbreak for him. "It's okay, loves. I've got you, always", I whispered to him as close to his ear as I could get then rubbed my cheek against his hair. And I meant every word. I buried my face into his hair as he tightened his hold around me. All I wanted to do was make him feel better, to make it go away but there wasn't much I could do in that moment.
Some time passed, couldn't of been more than just a few minutes or so at most. But it was enough for the quiet of the morning to settle around us so when my phone suddenly started ringing I jumped and squeaked a little. Which I hated doing because it also spooked Kacchan and caused him to tighten his hold more around me. "Shhh...it's okay, loves. Just my phone...", I whispered to him as I pet through his spikey hair to calm him again so I could breath. Once I could breath, swiping on my Apple Watch to answer the call, already knowing exactly who it was. "Hey skarky love....", I say softly into the Bluetooth earpiece in my ear to my second love aka Eijiro Kirishima. Who was also Kacchan's closest best friend aside from me of course. "yes he's with me. Yes he's okay....", I reassured our redheaded man quietly. "And yes I'm okay as well, loves", I responded before he could ask cause knowing him, he probably seen the news as well like Kats probably did. I mean why else would he just suddenly be at my place this early in the morning. I bit my lip as I peeked to the blonde clinging to me for lip it seemed. 'Unless he just had that sense that I needed him or vice versa', I thought to myself.
"Sorry, Eiji. What did you say again?"
"I said, I've got Eri with me today so will we see you two later for diner, right?" Kiri repeated over the phone.
"Yeah of course we'll be there, loves. Sorry I got lost in thought for a moment there" I responded quietly, absentmindedly rubbing my cheek against Bakugo's hair.
"Okay good...We'll see you two then..."
I could almost hear the hesitation in his voice as he spoke, biting my lip and already knowing what he wanted to ask next. I spoke up before he could even ask.
"I can try but I doubt I'll be able to get 'Him' to come as well..."
"....Just let him know we miss him and hope he's okay..."
"Of course I will, loves. I'll try my best on bringing him with but no promises, E." I told him softly, hating the sadness and worry I heard in his voice.
"I know I know...we all just want him to know were here for him..."
Hearing that made me smile a little, it was nice hearing just how much not just that Kiri cared about my brother but that all of our friends worried on him bout as much as I did. Hell one of the ones that cared bout him the most was Shoto and would've probably followed him if I hadn't. I mean I wish he didn't feel the need to leave to begin with but I also knew that I wasn't gonna let him go on his own without at least some back up. It was nice for a little bit, gave us a bunch of bonding moments. That is till the recent events and us nearly losing....
"you're muttering again, Minx", Kats says kinda muffled.
"We still have him, Little Shark", Kiri says quietly at the same time in my ear from my earpiece. Which instantly caused me to apologize, blush and hide my face into Kats' shoulder to hide said blush. Course it only made Kats Chuckle some and come out of his hiding spot in my shoulder and pick me up. "We'll make sure to get him there, Shitty Hair. No worries but first sleep", Kats says quietly ash near my ear where my Bluetooth earpiece was as he carried me back to my room. We said our 'byes' to Eji, promising him we'd make it for dinner later that night.
I was already half asleep when Kats kissed my forehead once again, which just caused me to smile once again. I carefully cuddled close to him as best able without hurting him. "Night Night, Dyn", I mumbled to him before falling asleep. I couldn't believe it's only been just over a year since this spikey haired angry guy has been back in my life. And to think just last year that it'd be a sludge villain being the main reason for why I was even in his town. My old hometown again. So much has happened in this last year that it feels like that day was forever ago. But Im glad it did cause I know I have him as mine along with some amazing friends, included our Sharky boy, Kiri. And can't forget my twin brother, Deku.
OH! I guess you'd probably like to know who I am. The names Mizuka Midoriya and this is my story of how I became a vigilante hero with my twin brother, Izuku Midoriya Aka Deku. So lets start back at the Begining of how it all started shall we!
