Akuma POV:
It was less than 2 hours before I was introduced to my parents by my girlfriend Heiwa, a girl that my parents would probably never let me marry because we are both girls, and she is an angel, (literally). What I am trying to say is I have no idea if Mum and Dad are going to like this.
"You coming Akuma? I don't know why you haven't told us about your boyfriend." (did I already say that I was dating a girl?) "OK, I am coming Mum." OH NO! I FORGOT TO SAY I WASN'T DATING A BOY! I thought to myself. As we got into the car and headed off, Dad asked something that I had already told him. " So kido, where are we meeting them?" I looked down as I remembered where Heiwa and I agreed for our parents to meet at the park because that and the college and schools are the only places where devils and angels are allowed to be together. "At the park," I said. "And I told you that before."
TIME SKIP 10 Minutes
When we arrived at the park, and then I saw Heiwa, and her parents, I zoomed over to her and hugged her. Then we remembered that we had company. "UM... Did I forget to tell you that I am dating a girl?" Heiwa and I said at the same time "Hold on a minute, you're telling me that you are dating a GOODIE TWO SHOES AND A GIRL!!" My mother said in a REALLY angry voice. Great now I made my parents mad and that started Heiwa's parents too. "I say not, our daughter is the sweetest thing in the world, and our angels are not "goodie two shoes'', but, Heiwa, you didn't tell us that you were dating a girl!"
Heiwa POV:
Ok, I forgot that my parents are sooo religious! "Sorry for me saying this... WHY CAN'T I LOVE WHO I WANT!!??" "Because we are following GOD'S will and protecting from these evil demons!" I didn't like how my mother insured my girl and her parents like that. "Come on, we are going home!" Dad said, sneering at Akuma. We just looked at each other to say bye.
I don't think the meeting was a great success, I don't think both our parents (especially mine) like the idea of me, and Akuma being together because they think all delves are evil as well as not doing as they are told, and angles being angles, are doing what we are being told to do, but I don't think that is the case. I couldn't stop thinking about Akuma and how her parents must be doing to her, I just hope that both angles and delves would be allowed to be as one. I just don't like how we have to be apart.
"Mum, Dad, why do you think that all demons are evil?" I asked (I needed to know why). We had a little awkward silence, and they looked at each other, "Well I don't know why you would go beyond how we live. Anyway, I know that you care about Akuma, but she is a demon, let alone a girl!"
"Your Dad is right, you can't be with her because that is going against both of the books."
"Which one?" I said in confusion. "What do you mean 'which one?" Then Dad cut Mum off. "Come on sweetie, you have school in the morning, just hoping to go to bed please."
Akuma POV:
I heard the alarm go off, I got out of bed to get ready for college, and as soon as I got downstairs Dad looked at me like "NO MORE ANGLES!!!" Yep, I know that look. I grabbed some food to go, then headed out the door to get my motorbike. I drove to where Heiwa and I met up at school. "Hey, Heiwa sorry about yesterday," I said when getting off my bike. "No, my parents are just being stubborn," Heiwa said, looking down at the ground. "Ok, both our parents are being stubborn at this point." I laughed, and so did Heiwa. As we got through the day, Heiwa and I did all our work as usual then got through the day very quickly this time. We got stared at by a lot of people in our classes.
At the end of the day, Heiwa and I got to our spot, we said our goodbyes, and then we parted ways to our homes. Once I got home Mum was annoying me by making me do all the housework! "Akuma! Can you please come in the dead room?" (that means the living room, but since we are devils, we call it the dead room) my mother has gone too far with me being grounded. "YESSSSSS???" I groaned. "Don't use that tone with me!" *sigh* "Anyway, your father and I want you to ask Heiwa to come over." THEY SAY WHAT NOW?? I thought to myself. I had my jaw dropped "Sooooo, what is going on, am I getting pranked or something?" I asked in confusion. Dad and Mum laughed at me. "No, no, we're not pranking you. We had a very long conversation yesterday, and we wanted you to live your life the way you wanted it to be. Not only are dating an angle, but you are taking a big step in your life." OK, I feel like I am getting yet another lecture.
