The function was over and Teja's mom got up.

"Beta tu party ke baad aa jana mai chalti hoon...."

"Parvez will drop you home....chaliye...." Karan held her hand and walked out to the parking and Teja went behind them.

Karan instructed Parvez to drop her home and go to the party venue.

"You are staying back?" She asked with her eyes shining in happiness as she realised that he was staying back.

"Hmm...."

"Thanks...." She said happily and held his hand and walked inside.

They had gone to the area where the dinner was organised and Karan was very comfortable with Nidhi and Sid. Teja had gone to talk to one of their seniors when she noticed him sitting at the bar drinking his coke and was laughing with Sid. Nidhi was not there.

Yeh kab hua.

She walked towards them and stood beside him and the two boys were chatting happily about some random topic.

A few minutes later , Sid excused himself and went aside and he finally looked at her with a smile.

"We can leave if you want...." She said looking at him.

"Mai thik hoon....tumhe rehena hai toh i have no issues...." He shrugged.

"Nahi i am done....sabse mil liya....they know i came so it's fine if we leave...."

"Okay then...." He got up and held her hand. They said bye to Nidhi and Sid and went to the parking.

Parvez gave him the keys as he had instructed earlier and left for his home and Karan opened the passenger seat door for her.

She smiled and sat in and he sat at the driver seat and started to drive.

"Ghar drop karoon yaa will you come over?" He asked looking ahead at the door.

"I am fine with both...." She said looking at him.

"Toh chalte hai....aunty anyway knows you will be late at the party so....we might as well celebrate a little...." He said with a sheepish smile.

"Cool...." She said pretending to be very casual.

"Order pizza....by the time we reach pizza aa jayega...." He said happily.

She smiled happily and quickly ordered pizza for themselves.

"Tum Sid ke itne friendly....matlab....i thought you don't like him...."

"Initially yeah i did not and tumhe reason pata hai....but he is a nice guy....and honestly i think it is very important for a partner to make an effort with their partner's friends....tum bhi toh karti ho....mere school friends ke saath....mere team ke saath....you talk to jess as well....see may be not now but after 15 years 20 years our lives will get monotonous if we don't have our individual lives right?we should have our individual friends and career....and un friends ke saath partners ka okay hona bhi bohut important hai....it is fun and we will have new circles like that....so i thought mujhe effort leni chahiye...." He said honestly.
