Max's POV:
I was walking to lunch with Toby before whispering to him, obviously asking where we're gonna sit. "I don't really know, just sit anywhere. You pick!" He said while crossing his arms. "Ay man why would you ask me? Why don't we ask B-" I said before getting cut off by gettin pushed on to the floor. "I- oops, I didn't mean to push that hard.." I heard someone say before crouching down to help me up. "Ah, well it's fine I guess.." I say awkwardly before taking their hand and getting lifted up. I look to see Gavin??? "Uh what are you doin here??" I question while pointing at him. "I- well, I kinda maybe wanted to..sit with you guys??" He said which came out more like a question. "WAHT?? I.. NO WHY WO-" I started before getting cut off by Toby. "Uh yea sure you can!" He said clearly turning a bit...pink.?? 'Huh?? What's going on?? Why is Toby pink?? Why does Gavin suddenly wanna sit with us?? Nu uh not happening!' I thought before slightly shakin my head. "Nu uh not happenin! Uhhh, besides we haven't chosen anywhere and Bob wouldn't like-" I said just to get cut off again. "I wouldn't like what?" We all looked behind us to see Bob with her tray. "Oh Max was saying that you wouldn't want Gavin to sit here," Toby explained while pointing at me and Gavin. "Oh yea no, I wouldn't mind besides Toby here ha-" Bob started before getting cut off by Toby putting his hand over her mouth. "Yea see, uh she doesn't mind! Heheheh!" Toby said while glaring at Bob and nervously pointing at a table. "How about we all sit there!" He said while rushing over to sit there. The two agreed before walking to sit over there. 'HUH?! Psh, fine I guess we'll sit there...' I said before walking faster than the two and sitting next to Toby. "I get to sit here though.." I said letting out a little hmph. "Oh well, yea I guess you can sit there.." Toby said slightly sad. 'Huh..?? Why is he sad?? I'm confuzzled...' I thought to myself before looking at Bob. "Pssst, hey! Uh why are Toby and Gavin bein weird??" I whispered to her, clearly confused as to what was going on. "Oh well Toby has a crush on Gavin, and I think he might like him back?" She whispered a bit confused as well. "Ohhh! Okay that makes sense heheh whoops!" I whispered back being slightly loud. "Hey what are you and Bob talking about?" Gavin asked clearly wanting to know why we were being really weird. "Oh uh.. Me and Bob were talking about how I should sit next to her so we could uhhh.. talk a bit more about science class! Ya know, we have homework!" I said trying to cover up what we were talking about and mostly trying to get them to sit together. "Oh, well yea sure! You don't mind moving, right Gavin?" Toby asked trying to make sure the taller male was okay with this. "Huh..?? Oh sure, yea of course! Plus I have to ask Toby something anyways!" He said happily that he'll be able to ask his question. "Nice, now move boii!" I slightly yelled trying to shoo him off my seat. I look over to see Gavin leaning over to whisper his question to Toby. 'Huh, that's funny," I thought before looking over at Bob. "Ay bro you tryna push those two together?" I asked clearly bored. "Uh yea sure! Wait but like PUSH them together or push them together??" She said probably wondering what I was talking about. "Ehh I don't really care, you can choose man." I said wanting to do something fun before lunch was over. "Ooo okay, we'll shove them together! After lunch of course." She said while drinking her milk, I just hummed in response and started to draw in my sketchbook. After a few minutes of doing so the bell rang, indicating it was time to go. "It's show time, you ready Bob?" I asked while getting out of my seat. "Ready as I'll ever be.." She huffed out. We sped walked to the two getting into position. We started to count down, readying ourselves. "What are you two do-" Gavin asked before getting cut off by me and Bob yelling three, and pushing them together. They tripped slightly before falling over and laying on the other, which caused them to kiss. "GOT EM!" I yelled before giving Bob a high five. They soon got up looking at both of us, which caused us to start running up the stairs. "RUN BOB, THEIR COMIN!" I warned Bob before running up the stairs causing me to start skippin stairs. "I'M TRYING, I MIGHT NOT MAKE IT!" She yelled at me, with the other two right on our tails. "NO, DON'T SAY THAT MAN! WE'LL MAKE IT OUT MAN!" I yelled before grabbing her arm and dragging her upstairs with me. "GET BACK HERE!" We heard them yell, before they started stomping up the stairs. 'Awh muffin cream pies..' I thought before making it upstairs and letting go of Bob's arm. "Get your stuff then start runnin down the stairs man!" I said before running to my locker.
