As Piya pulled Abhay's car into the parking lot, she got blocked by Kabeer and Angad. Initially, she smiled seeing them, but then she remembered that Abhay disliked them immensely, Kabeer more than Angad. She quickly forced a scowl on her face and tried to go around them.
When they refused to move, she slammed her palm on the horn.
Sorry guys.
"Move over. This is not a tea garden owned by Daddy Raichand," Kabeer said, rolling the windows down with a wide smirk on his face.
"Of course the rich daddy got you everything but manners now, did he?," commented Angad with a grimace.
Piya lightly stepped on the gas pedal to lurch the car forward enough to scare them.
"I'm just trying to park. Seems like your parents forgot to teach you that it's rude to stop others from going about their day."
Angad and Kabeer looked at each other and together burst into hard laughter.
"Excuse me?! Anything funny?," Piya asked.her fingers wrapped tight around the steering wheel. This was getting annoying real fast.
"No, but listen. When we want a lecture on rude behavior, we shall go to our moms. Now move."
"Why should I move?"
"Daddy forgot to teach you basic driving along with parking manners? Your car is ahead. Unless you want that mirror knocked clean off, you might wanna take a lead."
While the three went back and forth with their insults, Abhay and Misha pulled up behind them, and Misha was more pissed than the three combined. Behind her, Abhay hid his face in embarrassment.
"Stop fighting like idiots and move! Both of you!"
Kabeer nodded immediately, breaking a sweat. Piya and Abhay looked at each other as the cars passed by. Once everyone had parked and left their cars, Abhay walked in Piya's direction.
"I need to return your notes, can you meet me in the library?," Abhay asked, sounding as polite as he could manage in Piya's little voice.
Piya nodded, trying the signature Abhay grunt, which sounded more like she just had a hoarse throat. Abhay bit his lip trying not to laugh.
"Also, why are you engaging with them? I - Abhay Raichand - don't even bother to spare time on those two idiots," said Abhay.
"Don't call yourself Abhay out loud! People will think I'm nuts."
She looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping.
"Don't you think they all think that by now?"
"I am you right now, you bozo....and they call me stupid," she mumbled.
"Fine. But don't do anything that Abhay won't do normally. Just be aloof like me. You know how I am."
"Right, so be confusing. Pull girls close and then push them away in the next second," Piya said sarcastically.
Abhay looked at her with narrow eyes. Before he could open his mouth in protest, the door swung open with a strong scent of perfume.
"Oh look, the college despo in another one of her despo moments. Why don't you two just get yourself a room instead of putting your shows on here for us." T had just walked in and was now standing looking at Abhay - who she thought was Piya - with her arms folded over her chest.
"We would, but unfortunately all of them are booked by you," Piya replied.
T looked at them both, confused. She knew Abhay always defended Piya, but this sounded so very unlike him. Of course, she was unaware of the fact that it was Piya who replied to her, not Abhay.
