Lisa was so interested in what kind of family Mr. Park came from that she looked at him with sad eyes and directly complained, "We are already married, but I still know nothing about your family."

After saying that, she suddenly realized something was wrong.

The other day Mr. Park took out a diamond ring and proposed to her, and she made a spur-of-the-moment decision to accept his proposal of marriage. Since then, she had been staying at home, resting and nourishing her unborn child.

So although she told her fans that Mr. Park was her husband, the fact remained that they two had yet to apply for a marriage certificate and hold a marriage ceremony. It seemed that... she was kept as a lover because he wanted her to give birth to his child.

"You're wearing a strange expression. You must be making blind and disorderly conjectures, right?" Mr. Park frowned, put the documents aside and looked at Lisa with his eyes full of concern. Her beautiful face was shaded with melancholy.

He reached out a hand, pinched her cheek and continued, "I find you often give your verdict on me without asking me about my real thoughts."

Hearing his words, Lisa didn't feel ashamed; instead, she wore a proud air, "I know I'm smart."

"What do you want to know?"

"You are so handsome, and your parents must be peerless beauties. I like beautiful people very much."

"In fact, you've seen them."

"Huh?"

"Do you often watch the news?" Mr. Park said lightly. "The man who often makes important speeches is my father, and the lady who often accompany him on a visit abroad is my mother."

Lisa now knew that Mr. Park was indeed a chaebeol

"They are now on a visit abroad. So I'm going to take you home to meet my grandfather." Mr. Park thought for a while and continued, "He's a difficult old man. I have hesitated to take you to see him because I'm afraid that you won't like him."

Lisa shouted in her heart, "I'm afraid that he won't like me!"

"Don't worry. He will like you." Mr. Park rubbed his chin with his thumb and said, "He likes beautiful girls. He once said that he felt himself to be younger when he saw young and beautiful girls."

Lisa was dubious about his words.

"Well, I can't hide it from you. In fact, he doesn't like me." Mr. Park shrugged his shoulders and sighed.

Lisa couldn't help but diss him in the heart, 'Actually you have fooled me. What makes you think you can't hide it from me?'

"I guess you are your grandfather's only family. Why does he not like you?"

"Maybe it's because he's an eccentric character." Mr. Park said as if nothing had happened.

She doubted his words. Judging from everything Mr. Park said just now, his grandfather was obviously an amiable old man. Mr. Park's remark was full of contradictions and flaws, which aroused her suspicion.

Lisa had known Mr. Park for so many years. In her experience, he was not an easy-going person.

"I can see from your face that you are speaking ill of me in your heart." Mr. Park looked at Lisa with sharp eyes as if he could see through her mind and everything was under his control.

Lisa forced a smile and replied, "Aw, come on, you are the best man in my view. You have no shortcomings."

Mr. Park didn't believe her words. With an expressionless face, he picked on her, "It seems that you've met very few people."

Lisa knew that it was time to show her loyalty, so she said without hesitation, "Even if I had seen all the people in the world, I would still think you are the best one."

"You've attained perfection in fawning on others." Mr. Park directed a meaningful look at her.

Lisa laughed in embarrassment.

Mr. Park didn't want to let it go at that. He pumped her for details, "Okay, just tell me, what's good about me?"

"Ouch, I have a stomachache."

Lisa groaned and pretended to have a pain in the stomach. Mr. Park hurriedly picked her up and gently laid her on the bed for a rest.

The next morning, Lisa woke up naturally and found that the sun was already high in the sky. She rubbed her eyes and was surprised to see Mr. Park lying next to her.

Mr. Park was devoted to his work. He usually went out early and came home late, so in the past when Lisa opened her eyes in the morning, she could only see an empty bed. But today he was still sleeping beside her.

Mr. Park turned over, held her close to him and murmured, "Let's sleep a little longer."

"Don't you have work to do today?" Lisa asked curiously.

"Yes, I have. But I've finished most of my work ahead of schedule. There's only a little left, and I can do it later." Mr. Park said lazily, "I know you're intensely curious about my family, so I plan to take you home. But our wedding has to be delayed because any pregnant woman with a big belly won't look nice in the wedding dress. I want our wedding to take place after the baby is born. It must be interesting to carry our baby in the wedding ceremony."

'You must be kidding! It's not interesting at all. Others will laugh at me and think it's a shotgun wedding,' Lisa thought to herself.

But she was quite satisfied with Mr. Park's proposal to take her to see his grandfather.

Lisa began to doll herself up because she wanted to make a good impression on his grandfather. Since she decided to visit his grandfather, she should pay more attention to the way in which she dressed.

Lisa asked him what his grandfather liked.

Mr. Park replied perfunctorily, "Every time he sees me, he is in a bad mood. No matter what gift you give him, it won't change anything. So, why not ask me what I like and buy me something?"

According to him, he was the eldest son in his family. She thought that he must have been dearly loved by the elders, but his grandfather seemed dislike him...

Lisa rubbed her chin and pondered for a long time before she finally asked solemnly, "Tell me the truth, is it because you were a naughty playboy, who always associated with undesirable people and did all manner of evil when you were young, that your grandpa dislikes you?"

Hearing this, his hands holding a newspaper trembled slightly, "If I'm a playboy who does all manner of evil, you will not be safe even though you're carrying a baby."

It was obvious that he was threatening her, but she dared not to answer him back. Although she was now pregnant and he dared not go too far, the child would be born soon or later and by then...

She would never forget what Mr. Park had done to her in the bed.

She suddenly remembered a tool he had used– the feather duster, which was anathema to her. She wished to throw away all the feather dusters in her house. Anyway, out of sight, out of mind.

"Don't think about everything. My grandpa dislikes me because I didn't do as he wished. He once wanted me to go into politics."
