{Neil pov}
That morning I woke up well rested next to my beloved wife. Although I knew that she wasn't anyone special to me anymore so my rest turned into sadness. We had been fighting almost everyday and she constantly held grudges. On my way to work I could finally breathe fresh air and relax properly. For many people work can be exhausting but in my case it's more like escaping for a while. I'm proud of my job, which is why I have no problem working for hours or even days non stop. I don't worry about my basic needs as my loyal assistant Kurtis helps in any way he can. I've never seen someone quite as talented as him in all my 10 years of working as a laptop killer. I can tell he cares about me because almost everytime I work too much he's there asking me to take breaks and even demanding it if he has to. The best description I could give him is that he's just like a ray of sunshine lighting up every darkness I find myself in.
Today was no different than any other work day. Kurtis brought me my coffee and I kept on working. An hour of nonstop working and my wife calls me. As I'm calmly fighting with her my voice gets louder and my emotions drown from the anger I feel. At that moment Kurtis walks in. He notices my stress and the moment I put down the phone he sits down and looks at me concerned. "Sir do you need anything? Can I help you in any way?". Surprisingly his voice was all I needed to hear and I was already feeling better. I assured him everything was alright and as he was walking out of my office I felt butterflies and forgot my previous fight.
