PREM

(After 7 Months)

"Ready?", I ask P'Boun who keeps checking his suit .

Seriously, it's just my parent for Pete's sake

I ask him to wear something casual but he insisted to wear a navy blue suit .

I can't with this boyfriend of mine.

" Do I look okay? Or is this too much?", He ask me again for the nth time this morning.

He ask me that after he showered , while driving and here.

"You look just fine, P'Boun . Now, come on", I said and held in his arm and he hold my hand as we entered the....

The cementery

Yup , my mother is dead, she died a few years ago because of a cyst in her womb. She was thankful that she had it after I was born.

She died while I was just a fresh graduate form college.

My Father?

I don't know my Father, I was born out of wedlock . After learning that my mother was pregnant , he left my mom and never return so my mom had to raise me all alone while she worked as a manager of a Pastry Shop.

Anyway, past is past.  I have a family now .

We arrive at her tombstone that is a bit under a big tree. She loves trees so I choose to bury her beside a tree.

We kneel and bow to pay respect to her. We unfolded the blanket that e brought and both sit on it.

" Hi Ma , It's been a while since I last visited and now that I am here,  i want you to meet someone ", I said

P'Boun come closer a bit beside me.

"Hi Ma'am , I Am Boun Noppanut and I am a Bank Owner . I am your son's lover. I promise to love and care Prem for the rest of my life and marry him when the time comes. You don't need to worry anymore about taking care of himself because I will do it ", he said and take a bow again.

Suddenly a cool breeze pass through

I smiled and look up to the sky

"Thank You Ma", I said

While I was staring at my mom's tombstone , Boun kisses my forehead and I close my eyes to feel his love

"As much as I want to meet your mom longer , my parents are really waiting for us at home", Boun said and smile at me

I nodded and bow one last time and gathered our things

Started our journey to Boun's house

Ahh !!!

I'm really nervous right, now

This will be the very first time that I'll meeting his parents and I feel so anxious.

Then somebody hold my clasp hands

"Hey , I know your nervous but they love you , okay? They even love you more than me", he said jokingly

I just chuckled at him

"We're here"

Oh my ghod , we're here but I'm still nervous.

I checked if there is any dirt on clothes first and we entered the house

It was simple outside but so beautiful in the inside.

And we saw Boun's parent walking towards us and his mom immediately hugged me.

I just hugged her back.
