Authors Note & Foreword

UPDATE Fall of 2022:

It's come to our attention that a certain creator we've included in the story has recently had allegations against him. We're disgusted and upset by these allegations we do not want to support that creator now in any way shape or form. We have gone back and taken him out of previous chapters and now are working to edit him out from future chapters as well. He had a very small role and we are already working on editing him out of the story completely.

-Inciting Chaos Authors

This will be a (reposting) of a complete installation of the first book of a four-part series. Parts 2, 3, and 4 have all already been started and part 2 is nearly halfway complete. This can be read as a separate piece by emitting the last chapter or it can be read within the AU and series we have created. The rest of the series WILL take a sharp turn though, and it is NOT suitable for minors (this one isn't exactly either by the way) or for the faint of heart. 

Although this is fanfiction, the character representing Corpse is basically an OC at this point. Neither author is a minor and both have put utmost priority into attempting to create this in a way that respects the muse. Therefore we have chosen to name the character to further pull away from Corpse's actual persona as there will be smut.

We hope one day to edit this into an actual original fiction novel series but will still post this version here because we are both insanely proud of it (and a little shocked at how convoluted and long it's become since its early days as a quick one-shot.) We hope you enjoy reading as much as we have enjoyed writing!

Foreword:

As aforementioned, this is fanfiction for the time being. We made it a priority to write this in a way that would leave enough space between the muse and the practically original character based on his persona to make everyone comfortable. We are both in our mid-twenties and used this story as a therapeutic outlet for a lot of the traumas we've been through.

Therefore; this work of fiction contains multitudes of themes and situations that are not suitable for minors. However; we understand that this is very easy to work around as we've both read fanfictions or online stories that we perhaps should not have read in our younger days. Please proceed with caution, even if you as a reader are not a minor.

This particular story is tame in comparison to the rest of the series, though many dark themes are touched on. We did our best to write it in a way that made sense to the plot without being problematic, though we are still only two mentally ill humans. We will do our best to add TW to each chapter start as well in case people would like to skip it, though again- we're only human and may miss some brief mentionings of things/ things that don't come off too dark to us.

We are hoping to post updates of the story either weekly or biweekly, though it is fully completed. We are in the process of writing the other three stories currently and hope to post the next one sometime soon. Neither of us does this full-time though so please be patient. We will also be posting this on multiple sites so, fair warning, if you see this elsewhere. I believe we will try to post under the same or similar usernames.

We also are willing to hear out any suggestions and- if time allows- do some one-shots etc. of the characters in between postings. We have playlists as well that we curated for each book. Once a chapter is posted we will try and add which track we imagined with each scene.

We created this series based on several WIPs we both had going for years but never amounted to much, so we're both heavily attached to the characters as well as the story itself.
