Shruti.. it's an alumni meet.. evryone has noticed us already. If we left in the middle it doesn't look good naa. Priya reasoned.

Shruti I told you.. I am fine...and... Before she says anything Shruthi dragged her to the corner where no one was present.
Y don't u just go n tell him. She tried to convince her once again and that's what she has been trying to do since they came here.

It's true i cannot hear ur sobbing sound but i can feel ur tears Priya. Hearing her priya tightened her hold and broke down completely.
Seeing her state tears made their way from Shruthi's eyes too. She just reciprocates her hug saying nothing. She let her cry and kept rubbing her back.
When she doesn't seem like stopping her tears. Shruti broke the hug.
That's it.. i will talk to ram sir. Saying she was about to move however Priya stopped her holding her hand.
U r not going to do that. She said nodding her head negatively.
This time Shruthi really got furious.
Okay fine!! As ur wish!! but promise me that u will get over him and be seeing someone else as soon as you can. She asked in a serious tone.
You know it's not gonna happen. Priya answered not wasting a second smiling ruefully and her tears didn't seem to be stopped.
I hate you for this.... saying she just pulled priya into her embrace and cried with her.
(Priya and Shruthi studied in the same college where ram was working as a lecturer. Priya fell for ram at first sight in the freshers party but haven't put up the courage to confess him. Shruti had tried hard to make it happen in their farewell party though priya too agreed. she was hell nervous and ended up just taking his autograph on her college memory book.
After their graduation also Shruthi asked Priya to get connected with ram and let him know about her feelings cause she has seen how crazy her friend about this man but Priya always used to escape giving one or other reason.
And just day before yesterday they got the invite for college alumni meet. Priya was so excited to see ram and told Shruthi that she will confess her love tomorrow however God had different plans. on the same day that means today she just got to hear about ram's engagement from one of her friends which shattered her all dream and happiness.)
Shruti i will be in room.. Priya said coming out of her hug.
(Alumni meet was organised in a reputed 5 star hotel near by their clge and all students were given a room since it was planned as a whole day event.)
I will also come with you. Saying She held her hand.
No u go n have dinner. U haven't had anything since morning.
Neither u.. come on please have a little.. for me.. Shruthi literally pleaded.
I am really not hungry Shruthi.. please don't force me.. i maybe just need to rest.
But Priya... She intervened from Priya.
Trust me.. i will be fine. Priya added when Shruthi doesn't seem convinced.
Shruti who sensed that she should let her be alone for sometime nodded her head as okay.
No crying okay?? Take care. Saying she offered her a warm hug and left from there half hearted.
Priya made her way to her room silently and little did know that they are not the only 2 people who were part of their conversation.
As she got inside the room she locked the door and sat on the bed leaning to headrest.
She loves him so much that he means the world to her. She has dreamt her future with him. The only man who has a place in her heart is he and she wants it to be remains his. She cannot even Imagine someone in his place. It throbs her heart.
She tried hard not to cry remembering her promise to Shruthi however she couldn't control and broke down again. Her eyes were already red though they still didn't stop to discharge the tears.
While she was busy crying she heard the knock. quickly wiping her tears looked herself in mirror. Adjusting the hair composing her state she opened the door.
Shru... Her word got stuck in her throat looking at the person standing at the door.
