We Know

The white room

I found myself in a white room it was all I could see white.
Where was I, I think I'll never know.
I tried to walk to the other side of the room but with no success.
It was like I was walking on a treadmill headings towards nowhere.
After what seemed like forever I gave up and just sat down.
I was admiring the white walls all around me and still asking myself if I recognized any of this when I heard a voice.
"You're are almost there my love"
"Whose there" i asked
But no one answered so I screamed it out again
"Whose there!!!!"
But still no answer
Almost immediately I felt a cold presence on my face it covered my eyes.
"Now you can see"
And just like that I woke up, trying to catch my breath. I looked around and I knew where I was, the school nurse, of course it was, nothing can be mistaken for the nurses office it was small yet roomy but the smell, that smell of a sickly sweet aroma used to cover up the blood.
Of course Dylan was sitting in a chair snoring away.
"Hey!!"
He woke up startled, he look relieved to see that I was okay
"Julia you're awake, do you feel okay do you need something?"
"Hahaha now your worried" I teased "don't worry I'm fine"
At that moment the nurse came in
"Oh look she lives" she said with an annoying look on her face
"Go on then leave the beds for someone who needs them"she said
"Mrs she just fainted I think she needs to stay.."Dylan tried to say but he was rudely interrupted by mrs wannabe a doctor
"No no she's fine now of with you two"
A signaled Dylan that it was okay he helped me get up and grab my stuff and we left, the nurse almost hit us with the door on the way out.
"What's her problem?" I asked
Dylan just shrugged and we both walked down the narrow hallway, me and Dylan attended the very prestigious very high class public school of Florida, I'm just kidding it's not either prestigious or fancy its kind of the opposite.
"thanks for accompanying me back there" I said to Dylan "if you wouldn't have been there the nurse could have eaten me!!" I joked
But Dylan didn't answer he was to busy staring at the horizon.
"Hey!!!, Dylan!! Answer!!" I yelled at him
But he just stayed there motionless as if he had just seen a ghost. I was getting kind of worried when a raspy deep voice answered me
"You're right I probably would have eaten you" it was the school nurse but she was different she had a tail!! Her teeth were like a sharks!! And her eyes were totally black I was so scared. Then I heard her laugh and I instantly knew I was paralyzed with fear.
