Hurt. That's what I felt when my brother left my family. My best friend had left. My brother Josh left 4 years ago when he was 17 to go live with his friend.

My name is Arabella. Ari for short. I have dark brown wavy hair. I am 5'2 so im pretty short. I am 16 years old, almost 17 next week. . I have dark blue eyes.

My brother looks alot like me. We have a younger sister that barely even remembers Josh. Her name is Sage who is only 7 years old.

Josh was only supposed to be gone for a couple months during the summer. He was supposed to come back for junior year of high school. But he never did. He was supposed to come back for my 13th birthday but he didn't.

After waiting for him all day I decided to ask my parents decided to call him because he was supposed to get home at noon time. Josh apparently decided he wanted to stay and my parent couldn't go and get him because he was already practically an adult.

I thought that he would come home soon. He was supposed to be there for my first day of 8th grade. But he didn't.

To make matters worse, my father decided to walk out on my family one year after that. My mom had to take care of my sister and I while both the men in our home left us.

I have hated Josh ever sense. I know it's wrong to hate you're brother, but I do somewhat. Im mostly angry and hurt that he decided not to come back.

Well, its now four years later and he still hasn't shown up. I don't expect my father to because we are better off without him. He wasn't that good of one anyway. He always came home late and my mother mostly raised us kids.

I wish I could see my brother someday. Just to yell at him and ask him why he left. But what I didn't know was that he was back in town. But when am I actually going to see him?

This is my first story that I have ever written so go easy on me here. Haahah Hope everyone enjoys my story!
