"What?! Hahaha! Maybe as a chore boy, but how old are you even?"

(Y/N): Fourteen! That's enough, right?

"Hmm... Maybe if the captain allows, but chore boy is not gonna earn you a penny, kid. You'll have to be promoted to at least seaman recruit! And you're way too young for that."

(Y/N): Come on, at least take me to your captain! I do a lot of chores back in the orphanage! 

"Really..?"

(Y/N): Yes! I can even hunt and... And I can also fight a little! Sister Ella taught me all of it!

(Y/N) started punching and kicking the air.

It was a little amateurish, but he still had a good posture.

"Sounds like you have a one heck of caretaker back in your home..."

The soldier hesitated a little, but started walking to his base.

"Follow me, kid. My name is Mashikaku by the way"

(Y/N): Yes!!!

Loguetown Marine Base

Captain William's Office

Mashikaku: And for that reason, sir! How about we use him as a chore boy?

Captain William, a long bearded man with glasses stood from his chair and looked out the window.

William: Mashikaku, you know why there are so many pirates visiting this island everyday.

Startled by the question, Mashikaku started mumbling.

Mashikaku: Uh, I- 

(Y/N): Because this island is located just north of the Calm Belt and northeast of Reverse Mountain's entrance.

Captain William surprised by the boy's quick answer turned around and faced the boy.

(Y/N): Since it's one of the last islands before entering the Grand Line, almost all East-Blue pirates stop by here to gather supply and whatnot. 

William: Hahaha! This boy is quite clever! 

Mashikaku: Y-Yes! He really is!

Captain William walked towards (Y/N) and talked to him in his height.

William: Boy, the pirates are just endlessly flooding into this island even though they know that there's a marine base. That's why I only want strong marines to work here. Even as a chore boy, you'll have to be much stronger than any other innocent citizen in this town. Can you do that?

(Y/N) saluted to the captain and shouted.

(Y/N): Yes sir!

William: Hahaha! This boy sure knows how to make this old man laugh!
