Pearl's POV

I land on a landing pad on the prismarine palace, and find my way to her map room inside. There I see Joel, standing there unwillingly, he is denying the existence of the demon so it makes sense. Kathrine and Shrub, looking nervous and talking quietly to each other. Gem was talking to Lizzie. I appear to be a bit early. "Ah hello!" I say pleasantly.
"Pearl!" Gem says looking away from Lizzie, "Are you okay?!" Of course I would be okay, the demon is a silly guy!
"Yeah, I'm fine!" I say confused.
"Can you please stay away from him?"
"Bwut twhy?!" I ask in a silly higher pitched voice. She walks over to me and taps me in the face while Lizzie watches amused. "Owhhh!"
"That didn't hurt." She crosses her arms.
"Bwut it did! I am hwurt in thwe soul.." I say sadly.
"Mhm.. Oh Pix is here!" I brush a fake tear from my eye when Pixl walks in a different door.
"Was I suppose to go through that door or?" Lizzie did in fact have many doors, all of which were confusing know where your go.
"Yes, that is one of the ways to get here."
"Why do you have so many doors?" I inquire. It is strange to have so many doors and hallways leading to different places. I accidently found myself in two different treasure hordes while looking for the map room.
"Convivence and a better way to escape!"
"Gem, I don't understand.."
"I gave up trying back when she was in the academy.."
"I see.. well why is the demon a issue?"
"Pearl.. not everyone have a good experience with him.."
"But he's fun to duel wi-"
"Duel?! He could kill you!" I was taken a bit by surprise with this sudden burst of energy, but I knew Gem well and she was quite like that. She sighed and pinched her nose.
"Awre you mwad at mwe?" She sighed again.
"No, I'm just frustrated that this demon has been affecting us so much and we kept brushing it off."
"THE DEMON DOESN'T EXIST YOU MAD PEOPLE!" Joel yelled loudly from the other side of the room, stopping any conversation that was happening.
"Yeah.. and the fact that red stuff is effecting my candles is not a demon? So elves, merfolk, deer-people, and gods are real?" Pix said.
"Yes."
"And demons are so unrealistic?"
"Yep." Pix just sighed.

Apparently since I had called the meeting I was suppose to be in charge since I had called the meeting, but most people agreed to have Gem be in change instead.
"Okay! So I know a few things, number one; everyone here either has been pushing it off for future them, have not been affected at all, or like it." Everyone looked over at three people. Sausage, Joey, and me.
"What?" Joey said crossly.
"He's dangerous!"
"And hot." Gem narrowed her eyes and sighed.
"He's really nice!" I say, "he duels me and has the silliest smile!"
"Yeah!" Sausage agrees. Shrub stares in fear?
"N-no.. Not really..." Shrub says.
"Eh? Shrub what's wrong?"
"The demon.. he- " She said shakily.
"Okay, okay, I'm not helping the demon, and I can see that it might get out of hand," Gem glared at me, "but he's a pretty fun guy."
"At least your not on his side.." Gem said . "It's still not safe to mess with him."
"Awee, bwut thawts no funnn..."
"Pearl."
"Yeah yeah.." I twisted my face up.
"Well what should we do?"
"I've been ignoring it!" Kathrine said. Some people agreed, saying that they also have been doing that.
"Buttt.. Its not helping.." Gem continued.
"Future us problems." Scott said simply.
"Yes.. future you will hate you." Gem said wearily.
"True.."
"We don't know what to do. I've never seen the corruption near me." Lizzie said.
"What's the corruption?" Joel asked.
"The red stuff." Lizzie responded.
"Oh. Well who ever is putting that stuff on my empire, they better stop, it's clashing with my  color scheme."
"Really?! That's all your worried about?!" Jimmy exclaimed.
"Yeah, because I'm not mad!"
"You killed basically every horse to ever exist.. and chicken." Pix said.
"Yeah, well at least I don't believe in a stupid demon!"
"Don't call my future husband stupid!" Joey yelled. Future husband?! I never even heard the demon talk about him?
"Joeys the craziest out of all of you." And with that Joel turned and left. Joey followed him out the door. Gem looked at Lizzie, she nodded.
"Meeting adjourned." Gem said. Most of the rulers left, leaving Gem, Lizzie, Pix, and I.
