After a bright flash, she felt a sharp pain somewhere in her legs and ribs.  My head hummed terribly, and then it came into contact with something cold... The cold asphalt of the road.  And then darkness came.  Some rather strange sounds were heard that were barely distinguishable, mostly it was something aching, moaning, and occasionally words were heard that echoed somewhere away from the girl.

It was somewhat hard, but the girl opened her eyes.  It was a ward .. White, cozy and cold, somewhat small.  Around her there were a couple of some devices, apparently for the visibility of her condition, and a dropper on the right.  The window on the left was small, but it was enough to make it at least somehow light without light at the moment.  She lightly squeezed the blanket with her fingers and writhed in displeasure.  There was a slight pain in her body, and her head was a little dizzy, but in general she felt quite normal and she would like to understand why she is here.  A middle-aged doctor and a young nurse entered the room.  He raised his cloudy blue eyes from the papers to her and then said in some surprise:

— Lisa Walker... Have you really woken up?  I thought it was unlikely to happen..

—Wh… What? What do you mean.. "Are you awake?"

The girl did not understand anything more, and the doctor, meanwhile, approached these instruments, incomprehensible to Lisa.  He looked at them, grunted a little and then wrote down something, and in the meantime the nurse gave out:

— You were in a coma for about two weeks...

"Wh.. What? What is suppose to mean in.. Coma?"

The girl looked dumbfounded first at her, then at the doctor.  The doctor looked at the nurse with displeasure and answered:

— Yes... About two weeks ago, two guys brought you.  They said you ran out into the road like a lunatic... You were in critical condition.

Lisa didn't want to believe it.  She immediately coldly asked:

— What about the others?  Derek, Susan, Katya... Mike and... And...

She tried to remain calm, but with a note of excitement she said:

—And… Angela?

— You can already ask the detective about this ... Who should arrive for interrogation any minute ..

The doctor glared at the girl, but she just nodded.

— Put her on another drip and transfer her to the general ward, please ..

He said and left the room.  The nurse only managed to nod, and then put a drip.  At the exit she said:

—Perhaps, at best, you will be transferred to another room tonight.  No, that means tomorrow morning.

And then she closed the door.  Lisa was lying and there were many thoughts in her head like what happened, when, why, remember ... Her eyelids began to go blind and she soon fell asleep.
