*Mallory*
It's been a week since I last saw Jeff. A week since we.. um, well, kissed. I was beginning to think he regretted it and never wanted to see me again. I know I've only known him for a very short amount of time, but I really did like him.
"Mallory! I asked you a question, snap the fuck out of it man!" Alyssa yells at me. "Huh?" I ask. "I asked what you wanted to order, dumbass," she says. Alyssa was one of my good friends, who also happened to be a shitty waitress at Starbucks. "Oh! Sorry, um a small cotton candy frappé," I say. She sighs. "$3.50. Are you okay, Mal?" She asks. "Yeah. I'm fine," I say, handing her the money. "Okay, well bye," she says, handing me my drink. I take it, and head out the door, drinking it on my way home.
I walk through the door, throwing my book bag on the couch. Another day home alone, I guess. I walk upstairs to my bedroom, and open the door. I close the door behind me, and turn the light on. When I turn around, someone tackles me to my bed, and begins kissing me. It takes me a moment to realize it's Jeff, so I begin to kiss back. After a while, I have to break the kiss because of lack of oxygen getting to my brain. "I missed you," I say, resting my head on his chest. "I missed you too. Sorry I haven't been around lately, just been busy. But I brought you something, I hope you like it," he says, sitting up and pulling two boxes out of his hoodie pocket. I open the first one, and see a charm bracelet, just small enough for my wrist. It had lots of different charms like a music note, a cat, the BVB and Nirvana logos, and a J for Jeff. I smile at the gift and put it on my wrist. "Open the next one," he says eagerly. I open it, and see a beautiful necklace with a black lace chain, and a silver dreamcatcher with the black string stuff inside of the circle, and a black and mint colored speckled bead in the middle of it. I smile at the thought that he knew I loved dreamcatchers. "Let me put it on you," he says, grabbing the necklace from me. I lift up my hair, and he hooks the necklace around my neck. "There's something else in there too," he says, gesturing to the small velvety red box. I pull out a small note, and unfold it.
'Never take these off, well, unless you're showering or something. I had the bracelet custom made, and I made the necklace myself. That's where I was for the past week. Anyways, there's something I wanted to tell you. It'll probably sound insane, but..
I love you.
-Love, Jeff'
A tear slips out of my eye, and I just stare at the note. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jeff's face change to a sad and hurt expression kind of. I look at him, and now it's my turn to tackle him to the bed and kiss him.
"I love you too."
And then things take place from then on.
