Chapter three

I was quietly sobbing in Ezras arms. He looked down and said
"Madeline..? What are YOU doing here?"
"Well EXCUSE ME for being followed and just running to the closest person" I said looking back at him in shock tears
"No I meant why are you even on this alleyway alone?"
"It's none of your business, Ezra."
I said as I was backing up and ready to leave. He didn't say another word but neither did I.
As I went back to my dorm I tried to wrap my head around what had happened. When I finally got into my dorm room I went straight to the bathroom to remove my now ruined makeup.
After about 1.5 hours later I heard Lily yell.
"MADELINE!! THERES SOMEONE AT THE DOOR FOR YOU!!"
"Coming coming.." I answered back not sure if she heard.
There I saw Ezra.
"What do you want?" I asked him
"Just wanted to see if you're okay."
I just slammed the door and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up at 11 a.m. since it was Saturday. Lily was still snoring like a pig. I made the instant noodles that I had bought yesterday. Then something hit me
'HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID?! MADELINE YOU IDIOT!! WHY DID I HAVE TO BE SO RUDE?! FOR FUCKS SAKE HES A GANG LORD AND IM JUST SLAMMING DOORS AT HIM?? SHIT SHIT SHIT.. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD IM THE SMARTEST STUDENT BUT STILL TOO DUMB TO REALISE WHAT I DID?!' As I was scolding myself, Lily woke up.
"Good morning sleepyhead." I said
"Good morning to you too.." she said yawning.
"Oh by the way, who was that HOT guy on our door yesterday..?" She asked me teasingly.
"Don't worry you can have him aaaallll to yourself." I told Lily.
"Hah thank you. Hey me and my other friends have a party in their dorm. Do you wanna come too?" Lily asked me while she took something out of the cabinet.
"No thank you. I need to study for my midterms." I replied
"Okay well I agreed to meet my friends already so imma head out! Bye!"

I finished my instant noodles and thought about what I could do.
'I don't wanna study.. I mean I think I know everything I need to.. should I just take a walk.. just to clear my head.. Definitely not going even close to that alleyway. Why do I even care about what Ezra does? Whatever'
I got ready and went to a close park. But as I was walking I remembered...
SHIT THAT ESSAY!! I ran back to the dorm and quickly got into the writing.
'My next literature class is on Monday.. if I get it done and give it to the teacher early, I might get extra credits..'
I did the essay about Poema Morale.
'This is such a good essay! I'll definitely beat Ezra! Wait what time is it.. oh it's 12.53 a.m. I should already go to bed.. where's Lily? Oh yeah she's probably with her friends.'
It was 3.28 a.m. when I woke up.
'I can't sleep.. this is frustrating. I wanna go take a shower...'
I went to take a shower and in the middle of it I heard something coming from the kitchen. Probably just Lily. Half an hour passed and I finally got out of the shower. I put on some shorts and an oversized shirt.
I passed the kitchen and got a weird creeped out feeling.. I ignored it and went to bed.
Next morning I got up at 1 p.m.
'Ahh I slept like a baby' I thought to myself.
"Lily.? You up yet?" I yelled. No response
I went to the kitchen to look for her and noticed a message on my phone.
"Don't worry Madeline! I'm staying at my friends dorm! See ya!"
'Ahh the same old Lily.'
I was about to make some food to myself until I realised that someone a.k.a Lily had taken all the food I had.
"FOR FUCKS SAKE!" I yelled frustrated.
'" have to go get fooooodd"
'whatever I'll just go get some food.'
And so I went. I went to the same 7/11 even tho it terrified me. I didn't use the alleyway, I walked along the actual busy street.
'Okay now.. what should I buy.? Noodles, yes. Ice-cream, hell ya. Lily can buy her own shit.'
"That'd be 10.20£ miss" the cashier said.
"There, uhm keep the rest" I said.
"Thank you miss!" The cashier said while handing me my groceries.
I left the store and walked along the busy street until..
"MHMMM!!" I tried to scream but it was muffled..
