"So, how have you been?"

Kimi sighed as she kneeled down in front of Itachi, her hands hover over his wound as they glowed a bright green.

"Really stressed out. I have no one to help with Shiya during the day while I'm working so I have to take him with me."

"Why aren't you still in the village? Aren't you Lord Hiashi's niece?"

Kimi sighed and closed her eyes to concentrate, "He would've killed me had he found out that I was pregnant with an Uchiha child. Our clans aren't supposed to mix. It's forbidden for yours to have children with anyone outside of their own. I feared for our child's safety."

"So you've been doing this on your own for eight years? Kimiko.." Shisui sighed as he watched her stand up and leave the room, glancing over at Itachi, "I think I've really messed up, Itachi."

Itachi chuckled, "She still loves you. Even if she refuses to admit it. I can see it in her eyes. But her love for your child is much stronger."

"She was everything to me. When Danzo attacked me the only thing I could think about was what would happen to her if he were to find out about her. I just.." Shisui sighed, "I wish things had turned out differently. This is such a mess. The tablet, the one in the meeting place, someone changed it."

"What do you mean? How? It was written in stone, wasn't it?"

"Yes but.. You know that member of our group - the masked one - something about him feels familiar to me, but I don't know what it is. His chakra is terrifying. So I believe it's all an act. He isn't as stupid as he lets on and it bothers me that Pain would let something like that-"

Kimi rounded the corner, "Okay Itachi. You just need to take one of these every morning when you wake up for a week and you should be feeling better. Also, before you leave, there's something else I need to do for you but other than that you're good to go."

Kimi stopped in front of Itachi, holding out a bottle of pills and Shisui grinned, "Amazing, isn't she?"

Itachi smiled softly as he took the pills from the smiling girl in front of him, "She is. Thank you, miss Hyūga."

"Alright, help yourselves to whatever. I'll be in the kitchen cooking dinner. And it looks like the two of you will be getting fed as well, I hope you're in the mood for fish."

"Actually, would you mind if I helped?"

"Of course not, come on then. Itachi you can join us in the kitchen if you'd like."

"Mommy!" Shiya stopped at the corner of the room, his eyes filled with tears.

"Shiya? Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?"

Kimi immediately ran over to her son, kneeling down in front of him to wipe his tears as he sniffled, "N-No! I can't find my stuffie! He's missing!"

"Oh no, did you take it with you when we left?"

Shiya's eyes widened and he gasped as he darted towards the door running out of the house. Kimi's eyes widened as she got up, running after him. She stopped on the porch, her eyes widening as she realized he had disappeared.

"Shiya! Get back here! It's dark out you can't be out by yourself it's too dangerous! Where the hell did he go?! God dammit! Not again!"

Kimi immediately darted off the porch and down the path leading into the woods, looking around for her son.

"Hey! Give that back! That's my stuffie!"

"It's mine now, kid. You abandoned it."

Kimis eyes widened as she heard an unfamiliar voice, seeing a flash of yellow, she darted over to her son, snatching him up as her Byakugan activated. The blonde in front of her narrowed his eyes.

"What's a Hyūga doing outside of the leaf village?"

Kimi hissed, her chakra flaring up to surround her, "You stay the fuck away from my son! Give him back his toy or I'll rip you to fucking shreds!"

Kimi blinked as wind hit her face, her eyes widening as Shisui appeared in front of her, his Sharingan already activated.

"Unless you want to lose your head Deidara, I suggest you give it back."

"An Uchiha, protecting a Hyūga? How noble of you Shisui."

"Shisui-"

"Get back, Kimi. You do not want to fight with this overgrown man child. He may seem like an idiot but he's just as dangerous as his partner. Isn't that right, Tobi?"

A dark chuckle sounded through the air as a masked man appeared out of thin air behind Kimi, "My, my. What's this? This boy is an Uchiha. This is very surprising news."

Kimi growled as her eyes changed, her Mangekyo spinning as blood ran from her eyes, "If you think for one fucking second I'll allow you to touch my son, you've got another thing coming!"

The man tilted his head, "Well you're just full of surprises today, Shisui. I knew the mother of your child was a Hyūga but I never imagined that she was a half breed. A Hyūga with a Sharingan, how... unpleasant."

Shisui's eyes widened as he spun around to face the mother of his child, "How did you..."

"I'm sorry that I lied to you Shisui, but I don't think I have time to explain right now. I know this chakra anywhere. He has two different kinds, but they both belong to an Uchiha. And both of them.. are supposedly dead."

Itachi jumped down from a tree, landing behind the maks man, blood running from his eyes as black flames attacked the man, making him stumble backwards.

"Bastard!" The man growled as he began swirling up, "This isn't over you two. I will have that child, and the girl. Mark my words. Deidara, let's go. Forget that stupid stuffed animal. We have the information we came for."

Deidara laughed, dropping the stuffed animal as he flew up into the sky on his giant bird, "Catch ya later sweetheart."

Kimi's eyes grew heavy as she fought so hard to keep them open, her hold on her child loosening. Shisui caught Shiya as Itachi stepped forwards, allowing the girl to fall into his chest. The two Uchiha's sighed and looked at each other.

"Shisui this is very, very bad. Pain is going to come for her."

"Then, we'll have to make sure he can't touch her, or my son."
