"Ughhhhh!" Percy groaned as she pulled on a pair of strappy heals. She could already feel her feet beginning to ache, and she had only had the shoes on for less that two minutes. Percy really did not want to go to this event!
When she was younger she had loved going to the Wayne Galas. It was so much fun to see people in the fancy suits and dresses even if they were uncomfortable as hell. She had loved sipping pop out of fancy champagne glasses, having fancy meals with names she had struggled to pronounce, and having any kind of delicious dessert at the end of the night! The big events were always the highlight of her visits with the Waynes but now she was dreading it.
It wasn't as though her dress was uncomfortable — in fact it was very comfortable and she secretly wanted to wear it around the house all the time — but it would only get in the way if something were to go wrong and Percy had a feeling something would.
The shoes also didn't help as they were very difficult to walk in, but Bruce had insisted she wear them. Percy honestly didn't know how some women wore shoes like this all the time.
With a sigh Percy adjusted a few more details of her hair that had been pulled back into a neat bun and made her way towards the foyer.

As Percy walked down the steps towards the rest of the family minus Damien — who was still getting ready. She tripped on the last few steps and toppled the ground.
"Oww!" She said and looked to see Tim barely holding in laughter. "I told you I should have just worn flats or sneakers!" She groaned as she stood up and gave Bruce a pointed look. Percy looked around to see everyone had joined Tim in holding back laughter. She glared at each on of them which only caused Dick to finally burst out laughing.
" You know Percy, for being as graceful as you are when you're on patrol I thought you would be able to navigate stairs in heals." Dick said while still laughing.
Percy blushed slightly and glared daggers at him, " I would love to see you walk down those stairs in heals and a dress," she snapped back.
"I would rock those stairs, in fact I have before," Dick said with a smirk that caused Percy to grin.
"It's true," cut in Tim, " I've seen him model walk down those stairs in heals before."
Percy just shook her head deciding it was probably better not to ask questions.
Finally Damien arrived and they all filed out into the limo to head to the banquet hall.

As the car pulled up to the curb, the nerves finally hit Percy. She didn't really understand why she was so nervous, she had been to these before many times but never as a Wayne and for some reason that made her stomach twist.
Damien glanced over at Percy and rolled his eyes, "-tt- why are you fidgeting so much? You've been to these before so stop."
Percy looked over at the little demon child and rolled her eyes but she stilled her fidgeting hands. "He's right," she thought to herself "I have done this before and I'm gonna do it again."
She took a deep breath as Alfred came and opened the doors for the family.
"Thank you Alfred," she said as she took a careful step out of the car and was blinded by the flashing of cameras. She smiled at the reporters and made her way inside behind Jason and Tim.
The banquet hall was beautifully decorated and it looked as though it had been decorated to match her dress with hues of blues and grays. In fact it probably was, that definitely seemed like something Bruce would do.
