Leaf didn't see this happening. He stood there, mouth open as Kaiden kissed him on the cheek. For some damn reason everyone in the hall applauded, as if this was some type of Highschool drama. They've all seen Kaiden kiss his friends on the cheek, but Leaf wasn't just his friend. As of this morning they've started dating. So how the hell did this happen?
Leaf was gently shook awake by his best friend, Luke Grace. Luke wore a little white sweatshirt with blue skinny jeans. It was almost the exact same outfit as Leaf, but Leaf wore a gray sweatshirt and hated skinny jeans.
"Sup dude." Luke greeted as he helped pull his friend up.
"Hey" Leaf said with a yawn. "How's living with your aunt treating you?"
"It's been good. She's been trying to make me fat!" Luke patted his stomach, a content smile crossing his face. "We had apple cinnamon muffins for breakfast today."
"That sounds good."
"They were! I ate like thirty of them!" Luke's sandy blond hair covers his light blue eyes. Once on campus, Leaf spat out his breakfast-gum and started for the entrance. Leaf could fell everyone's eyes on him.
"That's him."
"What's so special about him?"
"Why would... like someone like that?"
"...is totally out of that guy's lead."
"He looks depressed."
"Is he an emo?"
"Him really?"
The whispers followed Leaf past the front doors and through the halls to his locker. Leaf hated being the center of attention. He tried his best to fade into the background and usually it worked. So what was going on today?
"There you are." Leaf felt an arm slide around his waist. Looking up he saw green eyes that looked like a cat's and black hair with the tips dyed blue. Kaiden Monk aka Leaf's arch enemy.
"Monk." Leaf practically growled out the name. "What do you want?"
"Come with me." Kaiden said, ignoring Leaf's question. Kaiden pulled Leaf by his arm to an empty classroom, slamming the door behind him. Kaiden's grip tight on Leaf's arm.
"Ok so don't get mad at me." Leaf was already getting mad by just being in the same room as Kaiden. "I kinda accidentally told everyone we were dating."
"WHAT!" Leaf exclaimed. The urge to slap the pretty face boy was getting stronger.
"Now before you get any more angry." Kaiden said as he dropped Leaf's arm and backed away. "This is a good thing. It's a good explanation as to why we're canceling plans. Nobody has to find out about...the thing and we get to continue doing what we do, it's a win win for everyone. Plus if you're gonna blame anyone you should blame Brynn. She's the one that asked me if we were dating and-"
"SO YOU SAID YES!"
"It's a win-win situation."
"I don't care about win-win situations, I'm not dating you." Leaf growled out.
"Fake dating." Kaiden corrected.
"No!" Leaf walked closer to the door.
"If you don't do it I'll tell everyone who you are!" Kaiden threatened.
"That's fine, I'll just tell everyone who you are." Leaf threatened back. He was just about to open the door when Kaiden said.
"I'll make sure your mom gets a better job!"
